Hi I'm Noah let me introduce myself. I'm in high-school. I'm 17. I'm like the weird loner kid no one talks to and every jock bullies. And last but not least I'm gay and everyone in my homophobic school knows too. You see I used to be social in middle school and had two very close friends. Their names were Derek and Tyler. I came out to them in middle school because I thought I could trust them but I thought wrong. The next morning everyone knew. Derek was avoiding me and I wish Tyler would ignore me but instead he was and still is my main bully. Derek eventually moved away.

FAST FORWARD TO HIGH-SCHOOL

I had my cup of coffee in my hand and my hood over my head trying my best to be avoided. I rushed to my locker and quickly grabbed my books I needed for my next few classes and left the others in my locker. I have this same routine everyday and I've planned it out perfectly. During this time is when Tyler and his football buddies are still practicing with the coach so this is my time to get my stuff together. I went to my first class and sat in my chair in the back corner of the room and waited. I pulled out my phone and began scrolling through social media. The other students slowly started to fill up the other chairs until there was only one seat left. Tyler's seat he's always late and no one ever cares. The bell rings and the teacher starts talking about the lesson for today. Tyler walks into the room and sits down. He slouches in his seat and starts writing on a piece of paper. He folds it up and hands it to the girl sitting next to him and whispers something in her ear. I see her nod and pass on the note and whisper to the next person. That person does the same. The paper slowly makes its way towards me. It finally gets to me. I know I shouldn't read it but I'm curious. The note reads: "Next time you won't sneak past me Noah and I'll beat the gay out of you." Of course this is when the teacher sees someone with the note. "Noah do you have something to share with the class." My teacher says. "Umm no sir just trash." I say getting up and throwing away the note. He nods and continues the lesson.

The next few periods pass and I make my way to the cafeteria for lunch. I grab my lunch in line and sit down at my table. The food isn't that bad. I mean it's edible but I wouldn't recommend it. A shadow covers my table and I look up and it's Tyler and his jocks. "Hey buddy did you get my note?" Tyler asks me, sounding sarcastically nice. "What do you want Tyler." I look back down at my food not caring about Tyler anymore. "What makes you think I want anything from you?" Tyler says, resting his hands on the table and leaning in closer to my face. "I want your gay ass to leave here." He spits in my face and walks away. It's not like I want to be here Tyler so you and me both. I've lost my appetite from him spitting in my face. I grab my try and dump the remaining food into the trash and pile the tray on the stack.

I walk out of the cafeteria and And put my hood back on. I sit on the floor next to my next class and wait for the bell to ring. I grab my phone and start reading. "Noah? What are you doing out here?" I look up from my phone and see my teacher standing by the door. "Reading ma'am." I say lifting up my phone. "Well shouldn't you be in the cafeteria eating lunch." I shrug and get up off the floor. "I guess" and with that the bell rings I open the door and sit down in my seat. The other students walk into the class still talking loudly to each other. This is our last class for the day. The teacher drones on and on about the lesson for today. "Okay tomorrow will be a special day. We will have some kids from the colleges coming to the school to talk to everyone about their college experience and just help out choosing a college. If you have any questions about tomorrow feel free to ask me." The bell rings and everyone in the class rush out to their lockers including me. I put my things into my backpack and went to my car in the parking lot. Yes I have my own car. It's alright it gets me from point a to point b. I park in the driveway of my house and walk straight to my room plopping down on the bed. High-school sucks.
