We Can't Just Be Friends {sam daniel}

Chapter 1

Grace's POV

I walk to the bus stop like I do every day, and I meet by best friend, Sam, there.

"You ready for Saturday!" Sam yelled when I saw him

"What's Saturday?" I asked

"Come on, its Homecoming!"

"Oh yeah, I don't think I'm going to go"

"Why not, it's our first Homecoming! We have to go"

"But I don't have a date"

"What about...Zack?"

"No"

"Nick?"

"No"

"Gray?"

"No"

"Paul"

"No"

"Colin"

"No"

"Then who would you go with?"

"Maybe I don't want to go with anyone, maybe just with friends"

"Okay, I don't have a date either so we can get a group."

The bus arrived and we got on.

"Well you still have to find a dress" Sam said

"Ugh, the struggle. Lets go after school." I said

"Okay"

*During School*

"So I heard you don't have a date, and neither does Sam" says my best friend, Nicole

"Gurlllllll, you two need to hook up" my other best friend, Willow, said

Willow and Nicole were my best friends, since I can't talk about everything to Sam. We are the fab 3.

"We're just really good friends, calm down" I said

"You may see it as friends, but everyone else sees that it's more that that" Willow said

"Okay whatever" I said as my friend, Jeff, was walking over

"So Homecoming is coming up... and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" Jeff said

I paused. I never saw him like that, he wasn't my type either. I mean he's a great guy, just not my guy.

"I-I- I already have a date" I said in panic

"Oh, I understand" He said while he walked away

When he walked off, I turned around and stared panicking.

"Why did you do that?!" Nicole said

"I didn't want to go with Jeff" I said

"We all know the real reason, you want to go with Sam" Willow said

"No, that's not why" I said

"Well, you need a date now" Willow said

"Ugh" I said as the bell rang "I'll deal with it later"

We all walked off to class. As I was walking I ran into Sam, well Algebra here we come. With us two, Ms. Blumenthal has a big storm coming.

"You ready for dress shopping later?!" Sam said

"So we can get a nice dress for you?" I said

"Yes, because I would look fabulous in a dress" Sam said in a girly voice
