Out In The City

Izuku's POV:

After the car dropped us I immediately took Eri to the best toy shop I know, it's where I used to buy my All Might merch, or should I call him Ass Might now? Meh. I look down at my little charge to see her eyes shine with millions of stars in front of all the toys.

"You can choose whatever you want Eri-chan! Don't hesitate." I smile down at her, she shyly goes over to the plushes and picks two cat plushies, a black one and a purple one.

"Can… Can I have these?"

"Of course Eri-chan, I told you you can take anything you like darling." I gently pet her head and she holds the plushies close happily. We take a look around and I can't help but sneer a bit at the sight of All Might's figurines and other merchandise, out of spite I pick an Endeavor figurine. Not that I don't like him, he does a good job and is very powerful but I can tell that he is not a good person, he is too proud and arrogant which is pretty much why he is only number two. But he has a better looking ass than the walking American flag. Looks like fucking cake. I wouldn't mind calling him Daddy in a bedroom~.

"Izu-nii why are you drooling?" I feel myself blush a bright red and shake my head.

"I-It's n-nothing Eri-chan! Um h-how about we go pay and get some ice cream?" Her eyes shine again brightly at the idea of ice cream and nods multiple times fast. I chuckle softly at her cute reaction.
"Let's go then." I take her to the cashier and pay for the toys before heading to the ice-cream. A waitress comes over to use with a bright smile on her face.

"Hello dear customers! A table for two?" I nod and she takes us to a table.
"I'll be right back to take your orders." She walks away to another table, I look at Eri who's looking at all the tasty choices they have.

"What would you like to try Eri-chan? Personally I want to try the Cayenne chocolate one~."

"Um I'd like to try the Candy Cane one!" She smiles cutely at me.

"Nice choice~ Candy Cane it is then~." Barely five minutes later the waitress comes back.

"Sorry for the wait, may I take your order darlings?"

"One Candy Cane ice cream for the little lady and a Cayenne chocolate for me please." She quickly right it down on her notepad and went to get our order.
"Are you having fun so far Eri-chan?" She nods fast with a bright smile on her face, she's hugging her plushies. She's so damn adorable! I feel like I'm repeating myself but I don't care!

"I'm having a lot of fun Izu-nii!" I smile.

"Good, when we are done here we can go watch a movie if you want." She squeals happily as the waitress comes back with the ice creams.

"There you go darlings, one Candy Cane for the little lady and a Cayenne chocolate for the young lad."

"Thank you ma'am, Eri-chan what do you say to the nice lady?"

"Thank you~!" I see the waitress melt in front of so much cuteness, who could blame her?

"Awwwww what a polite and adorable little girl~~! Is she your sister?" I nod.

"Yes ma'am~. Today she had a day off school and I happened to have a day off work so I took her on a little trip in the city."

"How nice of you." She smiles at me.
"Well enjoy your treats darlings." She leaves once again and we start to eat our ice creams. It's so good to see Eri so relaxed and happy, I want to have a good time before heading back home. I still wonder why she is so unhappy at home, Chrono told me that she was homeschooled so she doesn't see anyone her age. Maybe I should try to convince Overhaul-sama to let her go to a public school so she can socialize with her peers and make friends. Once we are done with our treats and paid for it, we headed to the cinema where we chose to watch a Disney movie. Eri was absolutely fascinated by the characters and loved the songs. About two hours later we go get groceries to make dinner tonight and we go back home, I send Eri back to her room so she can rest until dinner is ready. I put the groceries in the kitchen before going to my room, wash the makeup off my face and change into more comfortable clothes. I go back in the kitchen and start to cook dinner, something simple but filling. As I cook I start to think about my old life… I wonder how mom is doing… I miss her so much… I hope Aunt Mitsuki and Uncle Masaru are taking care of her. I wonder if Kacchan came to my funerals…Mostly likely not knowing him, I bet he was even happy about my supposed death. He's the one who told me to throw myself off a building after all! I growl and stirr what's in the pot angrily.

"Did that pot of food make you angry?" I hear a faint chuckle behind me, I turn around and see a tired Overhaul-sama standing in the doorway.

"Ah no. Sorry Overhaul-sama I was thinking about something and I guess I lost my temper."

"It's fine Midoriya-kun." He assures me.
"How was your day off with Eri? I trust she behaved herself." I can't help but feel a certain threat in the last few words, I nod at him while focusing on the food cooking.

"She was on her best behavior. I've never seen her so happy since I met her." I smile softly, I see him nod in the corner of my eye.

"Very good, I shall reward her for her good behavior." I think for a bit and decide to take a risk.

"Overhaul-sama if I may?"

"Hm?"

"I would like to take Eri-chan out more often. It's not good for someone so young to stay indoors all the time, she needs to socialize more with her peers… Maybe… If you'll allow it of course. Maybe she could go to a public school?" I observe him, he seems to be thinking.

" No it's too dangerous. Her Quirk is not stable enough to go to a normal school." I am a bit disappointed, at least I tried.
"But she can go out more often, as long as she works hard and behaves well enough." I smile happily at the news, Eri is going to be really happy when she hears this.

"Thank you Overhaul-sama! I'll make sure to tell Eri-chan later about this." He simply nods.
"You should get some rest sir, dinner will be ready soon." He nods again before leaving for his room I guess, this puts me in a much better mood and my previous thoughts are long forgotten. As I finish cooking I start to plan Eri and I's next trip, next time I'm taking her clothes shopping!
