Loving Can Hurt

Chpter 3

We finally arrived at perris after a silent taxi journey, perri paid the driver can I met him inside. I went in and sat on the couch. perri followed in shortly after.
"Do you need a drink?" he asked me
"Um...yeah please" I replied
He walked into the kitchen and I heard him get some cans out the fridge.
Shortly after we walked in and out two cans of Pepsi onto the table in the middle of the room he placed one on my side and smiled.
"Thanks" I said with a smile.
He sat down and started to talk
"So what was the matter at the shopping center"
"I was just thinking about my ex boyfriend, and how much I miss our relationship" I replied, I didn't want to tell him about nandos with Mitch.
"Oh, well I hope you like The Woman In Black" he said turning the lights off and making his way over to me.
As it got into the film I jumped and perri put his arm around me. everyone I jumped he would hold me closer to him. After a while towards the end, I fel asleep on perri.
The next morning I woke up still lying on the sofa with perri. I got up and went to the toilet.
I went back downstairs but perri wasn't there. I wonders back into the living room when I heard the door shut. I stayed still when I felt two hands slip around my waist. I turned my head but perri guided me to the sofa. He sat me down and kissed my forehead. He sat next to me and we started to kiss pationatly until we got to the point were I started to think about Mitch. I pulled away
"Sorry Pel, I can't do this" I looked down and ran to the bathroom I locked the door. I heard perri running up the stairs and he started to knock on the door
"Lucy??" He kept repeating until I answerd
"What?"
"Please lucy, tell me what's wrong" he said doing that soft voice that he knows I always give into him.
I opened the door and explained to him what was going on and why I couldn't kiss perri.
