04: The Next Night

"Fucking Forth! You promised! Let him go now!"

"P-Pha?" I woke up and tried to reach him but a pair of strong hands prevent me from doing that

"Dragged him outside the room Lam or else you know what will happen" Forth said in a threatening tone,

But I can't still grasp what was happening, why was Pha looks furious? Why does Forth said that?

They are friends right?

"Hey baby, look at me" He said while cupping both of my cheeks to make me fixed my gazed on him,

"Hmm...?" I just hummed confusingly, because I still feel sore and sleepy at the moment that I can't really understand what was happening,

"You'll sleep again okay? While I was talking with your so-called father outside and when we are done I get back at you, okay?" Forth said while softly caressing my cheeks with his thumb,

"Hmm.." I just nod at him to answer,

And when I felt him being detached to me I feel cold, and it looks like he saw me squirmed that's why he immediately pull the thick blanket on me,

and after he did that I slowly drifted off to sleep.

Forth's POV

"I did not promise anything to start with, Phana" I said immediately after I tucked Beam in to sleep,

"and Don't fucking shout, this is not your home, be respectful" I added before he shoot another series of yelling in front of my face,

Even though this fucker is my best friend, I will not let him do things on his own ways,

Beam is mine, from the very start and he knew that

"I specifically said that I will let Beam be in your care for just one day and not— not to do that to him!" Phana said while containing his anger not to shout at me,

"And you really think I will just be contented with one day?! Really?! You think my love for him is superficial that after I got to feel his warmth, I will immediately disposed him?! You! of all people, should know how I control myself not to murder those women who touches my Beam, because you said, I should let him live his life— not to pursue him until he graduate in college" I said with all of my frustrations against the fuck that was happening, and calm myself again before I added—

"But boy, you just gave me a chance, so who am I not to grab that fucking opportunity? and it looks like he was drowned in me again— like before, right?" I added, after I point a finger against his shoulder,

"During the Moons, I knew he already had a feelings to me back then, but your overly protective ass prevent that from happening, now I was wondering—

are you really a friend or foe?" I said, with a deathly tone while opening a bottle of bear using my teeth,

"Be careful on choosing sides, you don't want me to choose between love and brotherhood, because you know, I already had an answer on that one" I said that calmly and then drink the whole bottle of beer without breaking the eye contact with him,
