Chapter 2

                    cops called and hospital visit

Kathy's P.O.V
After logan's birthday i quickly drove home realizing I was extremely late. Once I got home I saw my mom in my house looking angry then she looked in my direction when the door creaked open. I immediately knew I was going to get beat. 'Great work dumbass, now she knows we're here and is going to beat us' said the voice in my head which i haven't given a name to yet. I started thinking about what I should do but quickly got snapped out of my thoughts when I got kicked in the stomach knocking me to the ground. I got repeatedly kicked in the stomach then I heard a crack, I saw my mother look down at me with a psychotic smile. I saw her quickly go away to the kitchen and take out a metal spoon, I saw her put on gloves and grab the metal spoon again, put it in the fire then pull it out. She walked toward me and put the burning hot spoon on my upper arm. tears immediately started to swell up in my eyes as I tried to move backwards but stopped, hissing in pain my arms stopped supporting my body and i fell all the way down to the floor drifting in and out of consciousness, eventually passing out.
-after 3 hours-
I finally woke up still downstairs in the living room and got up slowly. I went to my room then got out some aloe vera to put on the burn mark and my stomach, then but bandages on my stomach and upper arm. I put on a short sleeved shirt on and some shorts with my adidas shoes, then i put on a jacket above the shirt so the bandages wouldn't show. I quickly grabbed my bag and headed off to my car, quickly starting it and driving to school. Once I was at school I walked over to logan and I said "hi" he smiled saying "hi".
-timeskip to them leaving to lunch"
I met up with logan after reading his message that he wanted to meet at the Cherry blossom tree and I got there pretty quickly to see that he was under the cherry blossom tree looking very nervous and very red. I walked over saying "hi Logan!" and he seemed to get even more nervous by me being there. "hi Kathy!" logan said with nervousness in his voice.
"So why'd you wanna meet here?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" logan shouted out, his red face getting redder by the second. I stood there silent then realizing that I should probably talk because logan started to look a bit sad.
"Yes!" I said going very red very quickly and before I could even react logan had pulled me into a deep kiss, putting his arms around my waist and I brung my hands up around his neck to deepen the kiss even more. We eventually remembered that we needed to breath and let go breathing in heavily. I laid my head down in the crook of logan's neck and sighed with happiness. "I love you" I muttered suddenly realizing what I had said when logan stiffened.
"I-I'm sorry I didn't meant to say that, that was just in the moment and I-" I said panicked trying to get out of logan's grip when he pulled me closer and he whispered in my ear "Why do you have bandages?..." with a cracked deep voice and I could hear him on the brink of tears pulling me closer to him. Should I tell him why?... I thought very worried.
"P-Please tell me why..." he begged lifting my face off of his neck and up to where he could see my eyes. I quickly cracked under his gaze and bursted into tears telling him everything. I told him how I got the bandages, I told him how I got r@ped, I told him about how I've been abused, I even told him that I self harm and have attempted śûìçįdę. He just hugged me tighter as I cried eventually choking on my tears and as he laid down against the tree bringing me with him letting me curl up in his chest as I soon fell asleep.
3rd Person P.O.V
Logan got up after making sure that his sunshine was still asleep so she wouldn't wake up and get worried. He quickly got out his phone to call 911. Once he had called the police on kathy's parents he woke his sunshine kathy up. She looked up at him with her stunning dark brown eyes and her cute smile. Logan walked over to kathy helping her up and telling her that they probably had to go home.
Logan's P.O.V
I saw the panic in her eyes when I said we had to go home so I decided to speak up.
"Do you want to stay at my place with the others in The show?" I asked with a nervous tone in my voice.
"Sure, I'd love too, but why would you ask?" Kathy said with excitement and confusion in her voice.
"I called the police on your parents..." I replied.
"W-Why would you d-do that?!" Kathy said in anger and disbelief in her voice. I saw that she was clearly upset but I couldn't understand why she still cared for them enough to be upset about them getting arrested.
"They sexually, emotionally and mentally abused you, YOU EVEN WENT TO THE POINT OF TRYING TO COMMIT SUICIDE!" I screamed out at her, then I immediately realized my mistake. She had tears running down her face and she looked scared, she thought I was going to hurt her.
"K-Kathy i'm sorry, let's just go back home."I whispered to her while she took me to her car.
"It's fine..." She said with teary eyes and leaned on my shoulder once we got inside the car. She just stayed there for awhile until she fell asleep again. Once we got there I woke her up and she looked at me with tired eyes and a smile, we got out of the car and went inside the house to be greeted with Zachary, Amir, Jordan and Kathy's best friend. After letting them settle into the house I walked over the her and showed her her room. She was amazed by the sight.
-After decorating the room-
Kathy's P.O.V
I smiled looking at my room now fully decorated. I walked over to logan and said hi and asked him if he wanted to watch a movie with me in my new room. He accepted the offer and we went into my room, since I had already made popcorn and grabbed us soda we laid down on my bed and watched [insert amazing movie here] unconsciously I moved closer to logan and he grabbed me and we started to cuddle while watching the movie. I eventually turned off the movie and we fell asleep.
