it was all in chanyeol's head.
the one he "hadn't met" was the man he loved in another life.
the baekhyun from another life, the one who loved him.
but the past memories get tangled with the present, and chanyeol discovers a man who harbours deep hatred, who intoxicates his soul.
baekhyun stabbing chanyeol is just him taking his own life, before dying in the hospital as he refuses to let go of his sadness and the memories of a past life which are coming back to haunt him, and that ultimately gets the best of him in the end.
