I needed time to think, but I couldn't think at all. Especially not in the middle of the leftovers of my house. I had to get away, go somewhere where I could think. Somewhere where I could live. I jumped as my dad honked the horn of he old Toyota. "Sammy! Lets go! Hop into the truck sweetie." I obeyed his orders, and sat in the back seat of the Toyota Tundra. I didn't bother fastening my seatbelt. "Where are we going?" "Away from here, somewhere we can spend the night." he replied. We merged onto interstate 80, and I immediately knew where we were headed. "Isn't grandma visiting Aunt Jenna in New York?" I asked. "Yes, but she keeps a key in the grill.. Remember?" I remembered, but I didn't bother to reply. I was too focused on what all the letters and words on the paper meant. I needed to know, but it was going to be hard since I didn't have them with me. That was so stupid of me! Why would I ever let a piece of paper as important as that slip out of my reach. It had to be important; it wasn't left un-burned for no reason. There was a reason, and I was going to figure it out. Just after I figured out what was written on it.
