An Announcement

Pillow's POV:

Aah, I had a nice rest, though I guess I always do, since I'm a pillow, after all, members of the pillow species are known to be able to get the best sleep, and I'm proud to be like that.

Now, what could we be doing today?

No one's POV:

"Contestants!" Four yelled. "I have a big announcement, so everyone come to the Cake At Stake area, and listen up!"

Everyone did as they were told and went over to meet Four.

"I wonder what Four wants with us!" Bottle said to Pie.

"It seems like it may be important, as Four has never seemed this urgent to say something." Pie responded.

"It may have something to do with the lava damage, because it destroyed a lot of things." Remote theorised.

Eventually the contestants finally got to the meeting place.

"Are we just going to sit on the floor or something?" Lightning asked.

"Where do you think we will sit?" Flower replied sarcastically.

"Chairs? Perhaps?"

"The chairs were burnt up, remember?" Snowball informed.

"Oh yeah..."

"I HATE NOT BEING ABLE TO SIT ON CHAIRS!" Fanny protested.

"Calm down, Fanny. The dirt is actually pretty soft!" Ruby told her.

"Contestants! I have brought you here today to tell you about an issue." Four announced.

"What is the issue?" Eraser shouted over.

"The issue is.... I can't recover contestants anymore."

Everyone gasped.

"B-But why??? How???" Gaty screamed.

"Yeah! We would like an explanation for this!" Blocky yelled angerly.

"Um, sorry, we don't really have one, it just.... happened, we don't know how." X replied.

"What is going to happen now? If we die, we'll die forever!" Saw panicked.

Everyone then started yelling at the same time, and were demanding reasons for why Four suddenly can't recover.

"It's going to be alright! As long as you all stay safe, things will be fine! This is probably only going to be temporary."

All the contestants were still worried and scared of dying forever, until Team Death P.A.C.T. suddenly went to where Four was standing.

"No need to worry about anyone dying, because we are here!" Tree told everyone.

"The point of our team is to prevent death! And that is exactly what we are going to do!" Pie continued.

"So never fear! Death P.A.C.T. is here!" Pen finished.

There was a long silence after that, until Lollipop spoke.

"Prevent death? I know you all try your hardest to do that, but I have never seen you actually SUCCESSFULLY prevented any death."

"I-I, well...." Pen started, but before he could say anything else, Tree stood in front of him and said.

"The only reason for that is because Four was still able to recover, but now that he can't, we will be more encouraged to prevent death. Therefore, we will become better."

Tree's speech was really well received, as many started cheering for Death P.A.C.T, and Pen also seemed happy that Tree was able to say something like that so confidently.
