"What should we do first?" Mia asks.
"Truth or dare is definitely on the list, but maybe we should do some icebreakers first to get to know each other. Plus my parents are going to see a movie in a half hour, so we should maybe wait," Liv informs us, "I found some games online that we could play first though; I have never ever, two truths and a lie, train wreck..., what do you guys want to play?"
"We've played two truths and a lie enough during freshman advisory," says Ryan getting a chorus of agreement, "Let's play train wreck."
Everyone agrees, and Liv explains the rules:
"All right, sounds good. So, let's get in a circle guys, and we can probably just sit on the floor. Don't worry, I sweeped. I guess I'll stand in the middle first, since I'm the host. For anyone who doesn't know how to play, the person in the middle has to say something they like, and everyone who likes that too has to get up and find a new seat, including the person who was in the middle. Whoever doesn't have a seat gets to be in the middle next. Did I miss anything?"
"I think you covered everything," Katherine says, "Go ahead.""Ok,... I like...um... Books."
Liv runs for Katherine's seat, and she takes mine. Everyone else else has already found a seat. Shoot."Um, ok... I like to solve the Rubik's cube," I say and positioning myself to take Katherine's seat. She gets up cautiously and looks around, hoping someone else does too. I immediately take her seat. Collin slowly gets up, and before Katherine can get to his seat, Matt takes it. Collin, realizing this, quickly drops into Matt's seat and Katherine glares at him. Wait, that means Collin can solve the Rubik's cube! Score!
Katherine thinks a moment before speaking.
"I like 90's alternative rock," she says, and Matt jumps up shouting "Nirvana," and high-fives Katherine. I see a faint smile on her face, as she takes his seat, and I think she went a little pink."I like sailing," Matt says, and a few people get up, leaving Emmie to go next.
"I like art," she announces, and takes Liv's seat. Now Collin stands alone. He's very good looking, with light brown hair, and a fairly muscular body. I bet he has nice abs... I can see Katherine laughing at me internally as I remove my gaze from him. She probably can sense that I like him.
"I like Pink Floyd," he says eyeing my "The Dark Side of the Moon" t-shirt. I get up and take Susie's seat. He has very good taste.Liv's parents come downstairs, and tell us they are going, taking a good long while to say bye to Liv who seems a bit embarrassed. When we hear their car engine start up, we decide to play another game.
"Let's do never have I ever!" Chrissy suggests.
"Ok," Liv says, "I found a couple different versions online, we are definitely not playing with alcohol, but we could do a similar version with pennies instead of shots. How does that sound?"
"Sure," everyone agrees.
"I'll go grab the pennies," Liv leaves and returns with three rolls of them. She hands one to Katherine and one to Vicky, who are sitting next to her, and they break open the rolls and pour the pennies into a pile in the center of the circle.
"So we take a penny if whatever the person said is true for us?" Katherine asks.
"Yeah, pretty much, and we go clockwise around the circle," Liv answers, "Somebody else can go first. Oh, and whoever has the most pennies when all of the ones in the center are gone wins.""Go ahead, Ish," Susie says, and I protest, but to no avail.
"Fine, um... I have never kissed anyone..."A/N: Sorry, that's it for now, I know, cliffie! I have a contest: for anyone who has a character based off them in the book and reads and comments on this first, their character will end up with a boyfriend before the party is over.
