Road to Take
When I was a child,
My first dream was to be a teacher
When I was a teen,
I started dreaming to be fashion designer
When I was a college student,
I wanted to be a psychologist
When I have found new friends,
I wished to be part of a team
But now that I am older,
I longed to be a professional writer
As we grow old,
Our interests and hobbies changed
But what remains is our goal
To be a better version of ourselves
In every career you wished to pursue,
Always remember the people who supported you
Do remember your parents
who were there to encourage you
Do remember your roots
Who motivated you
In the end,
It will also be you
who will decide for yourself
Not other people
But only yourself
Yes, money might be an issue
For you have to be equipped
To accomplished your goal
Yes, some may contradict you
But do remember that
It is you who decide for your future
Parents may always have a say
In everything that you do
But try to consider that
They only wants the best just for you
Talk it out to them
Let them understand you
One way or another,
They will always be behind you
Always supporting you
