Angi quickly dove back inside her cabin, and cralled over to the wall beside the door. As she stood and leaned against the wall waitting as arrow after arrow was shot into the wall of her cabin,a couple coming through the door way and hitting the wall opposite of the door. She waited for a moment until there were no more arrows being fired. Then she quickly turned the corner draw her bow and shot at the last place she saw the arrows come from.
She heard a loud cry of pain. But that didn't stager her, she quickly ducked back behind the wall. She waited for a moment before glancing out the door. She didn't see anything so she took a step outside. That's when she heard footsteps getting closer, yet she didn't see anyone coming, thats when she saw foot prints in the snow that where heading right for her. So she quickly grabbed the bottom of her bow and swung it as hard as she could above the footprints. She immediately felt a thud as out of nowhere, there was a flash and a man apeard, laying on the ground holding his nose and groning. Angi then kicked away the steel sword laying next to him. She had her bow drawn back and pointed at the man laying on the ground, who was now staring at her. While still pointing a drawn arrow at the man on the ground she said in a shaky yet firm voice who are you what are you doing here.
At first the man didn't say anything, but after she threatened to shoot him in his leg, he said "my name is Malice." What are you doing here, She said, almost shouting the words. Malice then said "I've been searching for you for two years, ever since you moved away from Helgin." Angi then said "Helgin? Why did you know those two drunk idiot soldiers, who killed my parents." Then Malice got a angry look on his face and said "They weren't soldiers you stupid girl, they were VAMPIRES."
