Oikawa x reader

5-ish

             *^*school day*^*

You walk through the school halls looking for Tooru since he was missing class when you find him being confessed to by one of his 'fan girls'. You stop and listen.

"Oikawa-chan... I like you a lot.. No.. I love you, I know you don't feel the same and that I can't make you so don't feel bad about rejecting me." The girls face was bright red and her stance was tense and nervous. "You're right, I don't like you that way and I'm sorry. We can be friends if you want but my heart belongs to someone else already." He smiles, rubbing the back of his head. 'I wonder who he likes' you say curiously.. You're a little hurt realizing that it's probably... No, it isn't you. You decide to run off before he finds you.

.:it's lunch now:.

'Who is it??' You question over and over again. Just then you feel a hand on you're shoulder, you look over at Tooru as he sits down. You smile at him and he returns the gesture. "How was class? I'm sorry I missed it, I had practice. When I tried to leave someone decided they needed to confess to me..." He sighs out. "Oh, was it bad?" You ask him as he shakes his head. "No, I'm just tired of it. It happens all the time." "I see, I've haven't been confessed to yet." He looks at you baffled. "Not one person?!" You shake your head. "Not one." "But your so cute!" He shouts as if not everyone then most people look at the two of you. Some guys nod at his statement. Girls stare in shock, and the boys in confusion if not agreement. You begin to recoil into your chair as he begins to apologize for yelling. "Sorry about that (y/n).. But you're adorable, I seriously thought at least one person confessed..." You shake your head. "I'm not cute, nor adorable.." He then puts his hand on your face, rubbing his thumb slightly back and forth. Your first instinct is to press yourself further into his hand and you do. Almost cat like, you rub your head a little. He blushes. "See, adorable.." You pout at his words. You couldn't help it, you love physical affection. The rubs your head as the bell rings. "We better head to class, don't wanna miss this one." He laughs as you nod. Cleaning up your stuff the two of you head out to class. The rest of the day was a little awkward between you two tho you tried to ignore it.

.:The last class of the day:.

"Hey (y/n).. Wanna come watch me practice?" Tooru asked. "I uh.. sure." You reply, tho he seems a little upset at your lack of interest. "Why'd you say it like that? I thought you were more interested then that.. You did sneak into the gym to be able watch me play before." Toy shake your head jokingly at his statement. "Sorry, I didn't know I had to be excited about everything. But yea, I wanna watch you play!" You smile. Then the two of head off.

A/n: and sorry this one was short.. I don't know what to do from here so I'm just kinda trying to do what I can.. If you liked the story so far I'd love a little help uhm.. let me know about things you want to happen, I have a down fall in the relationship I wanna build up to but I don't think I've built enough for it to feel right to me..
