"So you're the traitor, Ray."

My eyes slowly widen.

What?

I leaned against the door to hear the two of them closer.

"What are you saying? What's wrong Norman?" Ray asked. I could feel him smirking from the tone of his voice.

"You already know by now, right?" Norman said quietly. "I set a trap for three people. To Don, I said the rope was under my bed. To Gilda, I said the second-floor bathroom's ceiling." "That's what I told you, Ray."

I narrowed my eyes and listened closely.

"But Actually, I told Don It was in the dining hall, and told Gilda it was in the library." Norman continued. "Then, the rope that was under my bed disappeared. Then what about the other two locations? Should we go check them now?"

there was a tad bit of silence, which made me uncomfortable.

I heard some shuffling, then suddenly... Ray started laughing out of the blue. I sweatdropped slightly and leaned closer to the door. "Dang. And I thought I was doing so well."

so he really is the spy...

"That's right. I am Mama's spy." Ray admitted. "When did you start suspecting me?"

"The day sister came to the House." Norman's footsteps were clear to be heard. "I was disgusted with myself for thinking such a thing. You were the first person I suspected." "Even though you're my friend. I just wished it wasn't true. It was my supposition for the worst case."

I closed my eyes, and let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was keeping in.

"But for us, it would be the most problematic if you're the traitor." Norman Notified. "And from the enemy's point of view, it would be the most beneficial if you're the traitor." "You can give opinions to our plans, and from the perspective of controlling the situation, it's perfect. No one else fits the job better."

"And that's why you suspected me." Ray claimed. "And that's how I walked into your trap, huh?"

Norman spoke up. "one more thing. Ray, you're not a traitor who was set up just for this matter, right?" "Mama would never trust a sudden tip or an impromptu spy. How long have you been mama's spy?" "from a long time."

My eyes widened slightly. All this time?

"I've been Mama's subordinate for a long time." Ray stated. "Basically, a sheepdog for a shepherd."

"You knew about everything and assisted Mama this whole time?" Norman questions.

"Yeah." Ray answered.

"Was everything a lie?" Norman's voice shook slightly. "All the time spent preparing for things with Y/n, Emma, and me?" "What and how much did you tell Mama? The Tracking devices can be broken, right?"

"What's the point in asking that?" Ray asks cockily. "Depending on the answer, will you cut me off?"

"I won't. I'll have you by our side, as you've always been." Norman replied. "Aren't you glad? You can continue to hide the mistake you made. You wanted to keep spying on us, even if it meant framing Don, right?"
