In Love With My Best Friend (KageHina)

The setter looked at the human tangerine, who was discussing with the blonde coach a new idea for a combo. Kageyama wasn't paying attention and he didn't notice that Sugawara was talking to him.
"Kageyama? Hellooo?"
Kageyama flinched and looked at him startled
"Hey calm down, it's just me! I noticed you were staring at Hinata? Is there something going on between you two?" said Sugawara with a tone of curiosity

It took some time for the blue eyed boy to respond, "Uh n-no, I guess I kinda spaced out"
Sugawara nodded and walked away.

Kageyama couldn't stop thinking about the ginger haired boy. Every time he saw him at practice, no- ever since he started to talk to him, he felt something inside of him, like butterflies and he felt all tingly and fuzzy inside.
"Get it together, Kageyama" he thought as he let out a long heavy sigh.

Ever since he felt the butterflies and all the tingles, he wasn't so good at giving Hinata good sets.
"Kageyama! C'mon! I need you to toss me a good set!"
"Ah- s-sure sorry" said the blue eyed boy

After practice, Kageyama was walking home when he suddenly heard Hinata's rattling bike.
Rattle Rattle Rattle

Kageyama stared at the tangerine with serious eyes. Hinata looked back with a tilted head and  his eyebrows raised.
"Hey! Sorry but I noticed your sets were a bit off today- is something going on? Are you mad at me or something? I could help you in any way I can! You know that right?" said the ginger.
"Would you really do anything to help me?" said the blueberry boy in curiosity
The wing spiker nodded and grinned
"Then come with me"

Hinata followed Kageyama to a nearby park. When they got there Kageyama walked towards Hinata.
The wing spiker looked up at the black hair boy and ask, "What are you-"
Before her could continue, the blueberry boy hugged the human tangerine.
The ginger did nothing for a few moments but then he suddenly hugged back.
They stood like that for a few seconds until the setter let go.
"S-sorry"
"No no! It's okay! Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow! See ya Kageyama!" said Hinata in a fast tone

When Kageyama was about to fall asleep he had a great idea, he texted Yachi, the small blonde manager, asking her if they could have a "study session" tomorrow after practice. It was a perfect idea!

After practice, Hinata didn't follow the setter to the park, before they left, Kageyama told Hinata he was going to be busy so he should just head home. Of course, Hinata, being the nosy little red head he was, decided to follow Kageyama and see what he was up to.

"Now what is that Bakayama up to now" thought the tangerine
As the setter got to his destination, Hinata saw that Yachi, the blonde female manager, was there too. Since it was a windy day, the wing spiker couldn't hear a lot of the things they said. All he got was:
"Hey Yachi-san, I wanted to ask if you could-"
"Ah! Of course! So what-"
"So the thing is I think I like-"
Hinata couldn't hear anything at this point.
"Does Bakayama like Yachi? Is that why he was so bad at his sets?" whispered Hinata
Hinata decided to keep it a secret. It was Kageyama's business after all.

------------ Kageyama's POV-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Yachi wasn't much help- she only said to think about it" whispered the blueberry as he was opening the door to the school gym. Kageyama was getting better at his sets, although he was confused about how he felt about Hinata.

After practice, Hinata and Kageyama walked to the park. They did the same thing, except this time Kageyama kissed Hinata. It was a soft kiss but Kageyama was too shy to ask Hinata for another one.

Hinata stood there shocked at first but then he asked "Do you want to do it again?"
"Sure but- can I use my tongue?" said Kageyama hesitating
Hinata stood there stunned and he was blushing a little "Only a little bit"
"What does he mean by a little bit" thought Kageyama
As they intertwined tongues, Hinata started to blush a little. As he pushed away from the kiss, he looked at the setter without a smile. "See you tomorrow Kageyama.." said the red head.
"Did that make him mad? I guess I went to far" thought the setter

It went for several days. One day, they were at the park, they hugged and they kissed. During the kiss, Kageyama slowly went under Hinata's shirt. The redhead flinched and broke the kiss. "Kageyama! Stop!" said Hinata as he slowly walked backwards. He then bumped into a tree, Kageyama continued the kiss and went under Hinata's shirt. Hinata tried to break free but Kageyama wouldn't stop. It got more intense, as he backed away from Hinata, he saw that the wing spiker had tears rolling down his face. Kageyama looks startled, "Why are you crying?" he asked.

Hinata ran off, not looking back at Kageyama, he left without saying a goodbye. Kageyama stood there, he went towards the tree and slammed his head on the tree. Tears were coming, "I thought that..if I did this, I would be happy. I got what I wanted so..why do I feel like this?" whispered Kageyama, more tears were rolling down his face.

The next day at practice, Kageyama saw that Hinata was trying to avoid him. The setter could see why. There was a huge bandage on Kageyama's forehead. Everyone was wondering how he got hurt, Nishinoya and Tanaka were the ones asking questions.

Two weeks went by, Kageyama couldn't handle it anymore. He had to go apologize to the wing spiker. He didn't really know how to apologize to Hinata, he had to go on a jog to clear his head. Kageyama was too wrapped up in his thoughts that he accidentally ended up getting lost.
"Crap- ugh what am I going to do now?" said the setter
"Kageyama?" said a voice
The setter looked around, he then saw the redhead, looking at him with a tilted head.
    "Hinata- I..I'm sorry" said the setter hesitantly
The wing spiker looked shocked, did Kageyama really say he was sorry? Hinata went up to the setter, he looked up and laid his chin on his chest. "Come closer, I have to tell you something" said Hinata. As the setter came closer to the redhead, Hinata suddenly gave Kageyama a kiss, a soft one but it was enough to make Kageyama blush.
    "B-boke" said the setter while trying to hide his smile
    "I love you Kageyama"
    'I love you too, boke. I have to ask you something though"
    "What is it?" said Hinata with a raised eyebrow
    "Do you know how I can get home?" said Kageyama with a smirk
