A lie

Getting drunk on a strawberry juice, in a desperate hope to sober up from the truth I've heard.

They say truth hurts when it's actually the lie that does. Because You've been so blind You didn't notice it was just a show.
Did I want to know? Without a doubt.
If I could take it back, if moon took me back to yesterday night, would I still want to hear it?
Assuredly not.

But how could one live with the fact that they're were lied to, when it left you bleeding.

She was quiet. Not a word.
The atmosphere was plastic
just until You asked if you can hold me.
I said no.

Your whole body was temptingly warm and I was dying to touch You. Ah, to be touched by you, to be caressed and loved.
But I could not give in.

You run away each time I try to catch you, then come back and say our souls are distant. As if I'm the one pulling away. Was I?

I no longer trust you

(Your "sorry" meant nothing. The words were meaningless. You couldn't  hold on to the one promise you gave me)
