The Minister of Autumn gasped in disbelief "One of the moonstones, stolen!" he cried out. Clarion was frozen in shock, before her stood an empty holder, the moonstone was supposed to be inside of it!
"How come it only took one, why not both... and how?!" The Minister Of Winter exclaimed, the room where they were usually held couldn't be accessed by anyone other than the Minister of Autumn and Queen Clarion herself, if they weren't there, usually two or three guards were present to guaranteetee the safety of the two precious moonstones "We don't know... One of the guards went outside after the moon started acting weird to check up on what was happening." Viola explained with terror in her voice, this made the queen frowned "What about the other guard?" the summoning talent shrugged lightly "We're not sure what happened but it seems that the other guard was put to sleep with some kind of.. black dust? Afterward, I heard someone rummaging and making a mess inside so I decided to go check it out, whatever took it was most likely a cloaked fairy. Once it saw me, it disappeared in smoke and never got the chance to take the other moonstone. " the blonde couldn't help but feel ashamed that she hadn't entered earlier.
The Ministers continued to ramble on in panic as the queen squinted her eyes towards the floor, everyone silenced once she bent down and seemed to slightly rub her finger over the wooden floor, once she stood back up she turned the finger around and to everyone's shock, there was black pixie dust on her finger, exactly like Viola had said. "Whatever will we do your highness?" The minister of Summer's voice trembled with fear as she along with her fellow ministers anxiously exchanged glances.
Queen Clarion cleared her throat before turning to a couple of her guards "Make sure that the other moonstone is safe in a room unknown to anyone but us, if necessary I will ensure its safety with my magic." she ordered in a very serious manner, she then looked at the remaining scout fairies "I want you to search every fairies house throughout all of Pixie Hollow. Whether they are in Winter or Summer, a tinker or fellow scout their house will be searched." Clarion told them firmly "Your majesty, I don't mean to be disrespectful in any way, but it's very late and I highly doubt the fairies will be pleased if we were to knock at their doors past 10 pm" a blonde scout fairy named Chase spoke up, Clarion nodded her head in understanding "search around workplaces today and continue with their houses tomorrow please. Don't tell them about the situation, however, we cannot afford to start any more of a panic." the queen turned towards the lord, ministers, and heads of talents but remained silent until every other fairy had left.
"The moon was a distraction... I should have seen it coming." She stated plainly before burying her face in her hands. Milori's stern expression softened as he placed both of his hands on her delicate shoulders "Clarion, you couldn't possibly have. Don't blame yourself like this." the room became silent once more, making the queen sigh loudly before regaining her composure.
"What will we tell the fairies?" the minister of spring asked carefully, knowing that the queen was in a rather prickly state meaning that she snapped rather quickly due to the overwhelming stress. "Nothing, not a word. It's better if they don't know. There's still a chance that she isn't returning, besides whoever stole that moonstone wasn't her. Perhaps one of her followers but not her, she's still there, I can sense her energy." Queen Clarion managed to explain as sternly and carefully as she could.
Neither the heads, ministers or lord were sure of her decision but she was the queen and therefore none dared to speak up against her. "It's better if we go and get some rest now, it's been a stressful day." Eventually everyone agreed and so they parted ways, except for Milori and Clarion who retired to their room.

The next morning, life in the beautiful pixie hollow wasn't nearly as peaceful or wonderful as it usually was, fairies felt almost enraged after the scouts demanded to search their homes. They most definitely wanted to speak with Queen Clarion about it as soon as possible but it seemed as if the Fairy Queen was avoiding her subjects as best as she could.
She knew that eventually she had to meet the public eye and it had to be today. Gathering all of her courage, Clarion fixed her posture ever so slightly before flying through springtime square. The minister of spring was the only fairy who looked somewhat pleased, though he looked at her with a certain unsure and uncomfortable feeling as if he knew that she would be put under a lot of pressure by her own folk.
Once the fairies laid their eyes on the regal figure they immediately swarmed around her, asking over a million questions all at once. The queen uncomfortably shifted as the fairies spread hurtful but true words. "Why did our houses get searched?" "and without us getting an explanation!" "this is outrageous" "what kind of queen does that?" and they rambled on for quite some time, untill the queen had had enough.
"Calm yourselves, please!" she called out in a stern tone, she couldn't tell them. She couldn't bear the thought of it all, how could she tell her fairies how much of a horrible fairy she truly was? She couldn't. Her subjects quieted down, none pleased with her response either. Taking a deep breath she steadied her voice "I dearly apologize for having to search your houses, I understand why you're mad but do understand that we have a reason. However, I'm afraid that we cannot yet tell this reason.." The fairies gasped in disbelief.
"Why not?!" a fairy shouted at her, the queen remained silent for a while "Because I have decided so." she bowed her head "my apologies." she didn't dare to look her dear subjects in the eye as she once again turned into multiple orbs of pixie dust and left for the pixie dust tree, leaving many fairies craving for answers.

"So, you girls heard about Queen Clarion?" Silvermist frowned lightly as she looked towards her friends. The girls nodded, looking just as confused as her. They were currently back in the sour plum tree, Vidia's house to be exact. The girls had gathered together after the rather hectic scene back in springtime square earlier that morning.
"Of course we did sugar." Rosetta placed down her cup of honeysuckle tea before clasping her hands together under her chin. "Everybody is talking about it." Iridessa added, none of the girls had freaked out about the scouts searching their houses, sure they were curious but weren't all too dramatic, Vidia being an exception perhaps, she had never been one to take orders from 'queenie'.
"She seemed stressed about something, that's for sure." Fawn spoke up, the animal talent had seen how the queen was silently freaking out, though no other fairy seemed to notice as they were too busy yelling at the poor woman.
"I wonder why..." Tinkerbells head shot up once she thought of something "what if the moon had something to do with it!" she exclaimed, the other girls shrugged "perhaps..."

"Oh dearest, you can't escape much longer. Faith awaits, time awaits, time for me to take back what's mine.." she hissed in dismay.
"This moonstone will ensure my success and her downfall.."
