I blew something up. Something big and important. If I were to come up to you and say I born up the east wing of the White House what would you say? Cuz that's exactly what I did. I blew up the east wing of the White House. Even though I only blew up that one part of an extremely important building the dumb government are now saying I'm too dangerous so I have to go live on this little island. It's going to be so boring, they won't even let me take my tools to do my mechanics. They called it Prison Island, which sounds cool but it makes me want to go there even less now. They are calling the move of where I live 'deportment'. First of all why would you call it that, second what they hell does it mean. They are placing me on this old boat which clearly needs to be checked for engine problems. I'm sure there is a problem in the engine room. It's rude how they disrespect this invention and leave it to grow old. For days I am locked in a small room with nothing to do. Until someone opens the hatch and orders me out. The sun is blinding and I have to squint. But I can see a beautiful white sand beach with trees and a cave filled with crystals that glint in the sunlight. I look directly down and sees girl sitting at a table. Da as any sane person wouldn't do I jump down onto the table accidentally breaking off one of the legs.
A very angry and loud voice shouted, "Hey watch it. That's my table you just broke."
"Oh, umm. Sorry? I didn't think it would break."
"Well you thought wrong." She told me and stormed off. Just as she was turning around I saw her eyes glint in the sun. I sucked in my breath and told myself I was imagining it. Her hair was a soft caramel colour like melted milk... Chocolate in a patch of glorious light.

I bent down to examine the table leg. It wasn't broken too badly, if I had the proper tools I would be able to fix it. So I picked up the table and went towards the shade of the palm trees in the centre of this serene island. The trees provided a wonderful place for thinking in. I even found materials to make some tools out of which seemed just a bit too lucky, but it doesn't matter it still meant I could that beautiful girl's table. I didn't even know her name and I had fallen for her. It wasn't just like a small crush. I had fallen hard like a plummet from a thousand feet. The only thing keeping me from hitting the ground was the realisation that she hated me. I started going mad because the girl wouldn't talk to me. She was constantly avoiding me and keeping a stone cold face at meal times. By this point I had this idea of naming the table. It was they only thing that never left me alone. For no apparent reason I named him Buford. Eventually I finished fixing Buford and came up to the illusive girl. "Before I give my present to you I must know your name."
"My name is Calypso." Her voice changed when saying it, almost wistful like no one had spoken to her for years.
"Ok. Calypso I have a present for you." I led her into the deepest part of the trees.
"Ta da! Your new table Buford. I kept finishing weird packages with mechanical parts in them so I made it so he could make noises and project videos."
"It's perfect. Thank you Leo."
Somehow she knew my name. This girl would always be a mystery to me. We looked at each other, our faces illuminated by the rosy lights of the sunset. Buford clicked and whirred almost in anticipation beside me. Calypso meant in slightly, her face inches from mine. My heart was beating fast, I was surprised surprised Calypso couldn't hear it. Our noses touching, the cinnamon scent of her hair wrapping me in a warm blanket. We kissed. I felt as if my head was floating through the atmosphere, and I knew Calypso was my soulmate. Prison Island was a prison. It had been the prison of my love.
