12. Home(2)

[Morning]
3rd person

Morning came as fast as lightning. Chaewon who's still sleeping at the corner of the bed move slightly. As the sunlight hits her face, stain of her tears can be seen clearly which presents her sadness all of these past years. She slowly fix her self before going out, "I wish none of this happened..." The tone of her voice is low and it is hard to understand what kind of emotion she wants to show.

[The gang's situation]

"Minju can you pls explain what really happened last night, in details", Eunbi said clearly worried about the "missing" Chaewon. "I told you she said that I should go to our house first to change that's why we separate our ways. Plus she told me that she's going here immediately", Minju answered with an annoyed but worried tone. "Then why she's not here since last night?", Yena interrupted. "How would we know Yena when we go home together last night?" Hyewon argued. "Stop fighting for now pls, we must find Chaewon first", Sakura said to prevent those kids from fighting. "Ah right, Yena-eonni you said that this is your second house, I mean after of what happened... So maybe Chaewon went to your old house since she told Minju that she will go home immediately?" Yujin guessed. "Did I said that? Anyways I will go there who's with me?", Yena asked. "I will go with you", Minju suggested more like order since she wants to see Chaewon. "Me, Minju and Yena will go there. Chaeyeon, Hyewon and Sakura stay with the kids and don't you ever leave them alone. The rest can stay here but behave yourself", Eunbi commanded everyone.

[Chaewon's POV]

I thought that after fixing myself I can go now but why am I still here sitting at the corner. There's something that makes me stay here, I know this is where my worst memories happened but staying here with my mother is the most beautiful thing that happened to me. I want to fight, I want to stay strong, I want to protect myself and protect my friends. It's just that I'm scared...scared of losing someone again... I shoved all of my thoughts and I start to fix my room where my happiness happened with my mother. As I clean the room someone barged inside the house with a loud "Chaewon!!! Are you there???" And from that voice I am now scared because that belongs to the angry Eunbi. "U-uhm.." "There you are little kid. Why didn't you tell us that you're going here?" Eunbi said while she start to hug me. "I..uh.. I just want to vist this house for some reason" I said for them to calm down. "Then you should tell us that, you didn't even call or text me last night!" Minju shouted. "I'm sorry Minju, my battery died and I don't have a charger" I explained for her to stop punching me. "What's going on in here? Are you two dating or what?" Eunbi-eonni said jokingly. "Woah I'm your fav cousin and you didn't tell me?! I'm hurt Chaewon" Yena said as she wiped her non-existing tears. "What?!" Me and Minju said. "Okay, stop this drama and let's go home before those kids burn your house" Eunbi-eonni said.

[Ssamyen's house]
3rd person

The four arrived safely to the house and surprisingly welcomed with a silent kids. They thought that they are going to be noisy and a crackheads but to there surprise, they are sitting still and patiently wait. "Chaewon?! Where have you been??? Are you okay??? Did you sleep well??? Are you the Chaewon???" Chaeyeon said showing her mother side. "Why would there be another Chaewon? She's the only Chaewon in the world y'know" Sakura said that made the others to look at her. "What" She's now confused because of their weird action. "Because that's cringy" Hitomi savagely said. "Anyways, Chaewon is now here so be happy than making things awkward" Wonyoung interrupted as she proceed to hug Chaewon. "Since it's already 11:00am, I will cook for our lunch and Chaewon change your clothes now" Eunbi said being the original mother of the kids.

[Annyeongz convo]

"Wonyoung, is it just me or something is odd?" Yujin asked. "If it is about Chaewon-eonni I think there is different" Wonyoung noticed. "She's giving a different mood than the past days. Is it because of what happened at the school?" Yujin also noticed. "Maybe because she's not in the mood or maybe she just wants some time for herself" Wonyoung guessed. "I just hope that she's okay tho" Yujin worriedly said. "Then we will protect her and make her okay" Wonyoung cutely said. "Sure baby" Yujin accidentally said. "What?" "What, I mean you are the maknae so..." Yujin said trying to clear of what she said.

[Minju's POV]

I think there's something different from Chaewon's emotion, I mean she's not that energetic as she always be like she's not here to annoy me or something like that. I curiously go to her room to check on her. "Chaewon, can I come in?" Knocking on her door. "Sure" she answered. I slowly open the door and saw her at her desk while drying her hair. "What's the problem Minju?" "Nothing, I just want to check if you are okay" I worriedly asked. "Well, I'm okay, ig?" Even Chaewon doesn't know if she's okay or not. I'm worrying about her but here I am staring at her. Chaewon after a quick bath is new to me, I don't know what kind of feeling is this but I love it. Why am I feeling this in a wrong timing. "Minju? Hey, earth to Minju?" I didn't notice her waving in front of me because I keep on staring at her and I literally don't know what to do. "Y-yes??" Why am I stuttering argh. "You're staring and you look like a living tomato right now" Did Chaewon just noticed that I'm staring at her? Can I just teleport to the other place pls. "I-I'm not staring, I'm just s-spacing out yeah. Oh the lunch is ready let's go", I leave immediately before she notice that I'm panicking.
