Seth's POV

Camilla is so beautiful. She fell asleep next to me in the cab after I dressed her wound. She also scares me with how much I care about her. We will be leaving soon and I don't think we will return to Earth once our planet is saved.

My parents once told Sara and I about Intliziyos and how special they were. They are basically soulmates, along with some other things, and they share their pain with each other and in some cases their emotions also. My parents were Intliziyos and they also could share their emotions with each other so they always knew what the other was feeling. They told us that one day we would meet our Intliziyo and we must do everything possible to keep them in our lives.

I've been thinking about them a lot over the duration of this trip, and I'm starting to wonder if Cami is my Intliziyo. It would explain the strong desire to protect her and keep her close, along with all of these feelings I have for her. I don't care if she is human, this human means so much to me, even if she somehow isn't my Intliziyo.

I turned to gaze at Cami. She looks so peaceful while she is asleep. And beautiful. I looked over at my sister only to find her already staring at me.

A/N: When conversations are underlined, they are in their minds thanks to Sara's abilities.

"Seth you care for this human, do you not?"

"Yes Sara, I care so much it scares me."

"Seth, she lives on Earth and once our mission is complete, we will probably never see her again. It's not like she could come with us."

"I know Sara, but I think she might be my Intliziyo! How could I let her go if that's the case?"

"This complicates things. Seth if she really is your Intliziyo what are you going to do?"

"I'm not sure. Maybe we could bring her with us?"

"Seth, we can offer, but she has a life here and a family. I'm not sure if she would leave that all behind."

"I know Sara, it looks like she's waking up."

Sara was right, there is almost no way she would leave her life to go with me. Maybe I'm wrong and she isn't my Intliziyo.

Camilla's POV

I carefully opened my eyes and started to stretch a bit to wake me up; however, I'm still a bit out of it. "Did you have a nice nap Cami?"

"What? Oh, yes Seth I did. I guess I was more tired than I thought." I answered him with a light chuckle

"That is good. It is important to take care of your body with an appropriate amount of sleep so you are in good health."

"Yeah, it..." I began only to be cut off by Sara.

"We're here Jack Bruno." Seth seemed to snap out of it when she said this and began to look at his device again.

It's time for him—them—to leave, but I'm not ready to say goodbye.

I turned to look at Sara, only to find her already looking at me with a sad expression on her face. Almost like she heard what I thought and was apologizing for having to leave. It's not her fault, I knew they were just passengers and would be leaving eventually. At least I got to know them for the small amount of time I did.

"Here? There's nothing here." Jack responded

Only then did I truly look outside and saw desert and more desert. There wasn't any form of civilization out here, we couldn't just leave them in the desert. We turned around a bend and the shrubs cleared to show a deteriorating shack. It looks abandoned, this couldn't be their stop, could it?
