"Open the door." Tione said banging from the other side of the door.
Smacking my teeth, I got up from my bed walking towards my door opening it.
"You could've just came in you know the lock is broken..." I muttered walking away.
"Damn your mom still ain't fix that shit yet?" He asked taking off his black air forces.
I ignored him going back into my room and closing the door. I laid back on the bed grabbing my book continuing off where I left.
"Why didn't you come school today?" Tione asked me coming into my room and sitting on my bed.
"Didn't feel like it." I mumbled shrugging.
"It's cause of them girls again isn't it." He corrected me looking at me sternly.
"If you knew the reason why would you ask me?" I asked getting irritated at him.
"Dunno just felt like it." He mumbled playing with the ends of his twists.
I sighed closing my book laying down on my pillow covering my face with my arms.
"Your mom left again?" Tione asked me laying down too.
"Mhm." I bluntly nodded.
Me and my mom never got along that well she was a bad mother anyways. I would often remember her leaving me all alone in the house for hours with nothing to eat.
I would always leave the door unlocked for Tione so that he could bring me some food and keep me company.
I'm kinda use to it now since I'm older and I'm able to take care of myself.
"How long has she been gone?"
"Almost two days she might come back later today or tomorrow." I replied.
"You tryna hang out with me and Smelly today it's mad hot outside?" He asked me laying his head in between my thighs.
"Can we just stay here?" I asked playing with the ends of his hair.
"Dayroom as hell." Tione muttered kissing his teeth.
Damn I'm sorry for having social anxiety.
We stayed in silence while Tione texted someone on his phone and I was staring into space.
"You're loosing mad weight have you ate today?" He asked turning around and looking at me while trailing his fingers on my thigh.
"No." I mumbled quietly.
"Huh?" Tione said raising his voice.
"I said no." I replied loud enough for him to hear.
