"I wish Mum and Dad could see me be ten"

"Teddy dear! Harry's here with your birthday present!"

A young boy with a shock of indigo hair raced down the stairs, much to the dismay of his grandmother. He jumped into Harry Potter's arms, and Ginny chuckled at them both. She was holding a newborn Lily Luna, and she left the room with Andromeda to give the boys some space.

Teddy sat on Harry's knee. "So Ted, how does it feel to be ten?"

"Good. I wish Mum and Dad could see me be ten." he replied, kicking his legs up and down.

"I wish my mum and dad could see me be twenty eight. But I have a really cool present for you, Ted, that might just make you feel better"

The boys hair turned a lighter shade of blue.

"Do you remember I told you about your cousin Sirius? Well he was best friends with your dad. And when he died, I got his whole house and his Gringotts vault. Half of your present was in there. The other half belonged to your grandmother"

"What is it?"

Harry brought out a large book and placed it on the table. "I'll explain everything for you, okay?"

Teddy being beyond confused nodded, and Harry turned the cover.

The first page said The Lupins and Co. In loopy handwriting with a photo of a tired Tonks holding Teddy and laying on Remus's chest in bed.

"This was just a few days after you were born" Harry smiled softly.

Teddy's hair absentmindedly turned his hair a bubblegum pink and flipped the page.

Even though each photo and item were captioned, Harry narrated all the same.

"Here is your dad, mine and Sirius at Hogwarts.. and these are some detention records I took from Minerva, I think you can come up with your own pranks when you get to school, eh? And this is one of your dad and Sirius, I think they were together for a while, but I'm not sure."

"Why does Dad have scars on his face?" Teddy asked, morphing his own face to have some similar "they look cool"

Harry cleared his throat. "Lets just say that Remus was a very cool boy at school. These scars reflect that. These are of your mum at school, I took these from your grandma. Tonks was best friends with my brother in law, Charlie. You should talk to him some time."

As the pictures went on, Teddy saw baby pictures of his parents (though a whole lot more of Tonks than Remus), and a lot of them in their school years.

"These are when the Order of the Phoenix started, and your parents met" Harry explained, pointing at a selection of the Lupins with different order members. "Here's your mum with Ginny and Hermione, and there's Madeye Moody, he was your mum's idol, and thats your dad with me when I was a baby"

"You're so tiny Harry" Teddy giggled, stabbing a finger at the picture.

"That I am, little one. Do you like your present?"

"It's even better than my broom! Grandmum! Come look at what Harry brought!"

Andromeda and Ginny walked into see a bubblegum pink haired boy with a face covered in scars, and their hearts broke.

"And whats this?" Andromeda asked, crouching down to speak to Teddy.

"Pictures of Mum and Dad with Harry, Hermione and Ginny. Grandmum did you know Ginny has a brother who was friends with Mum? I want to see him. And Mad eye Moody looks so scary, and your cousin Sirius..." As Teddy chattered on, Andromeda whispered to Harry "Thank you so much" with a humbling sense of sincerity.

"Don't worry Ted, when Charlie gets back from Romania, I'll take you to see him , eh?" Ginny grinned, and started to tell him a new story about how kindly Remus helped her with her defence work in her second year.
