When the world was created, there were only three beings in existence. God, the great one, Life, the creator, and Death, the destroyer. However, they had never met before. Until the day they all decided to get together because nobody else was around and they were lonely. When they had all arrived, both God and Death immediately fell in love with Life. She was the most beautiful thing they had ever seen. Life had long, wavy, blonde hair that fell to her waist. She had tender, red lips. Her eyes were so blue that you thought you were lost at sea if you stared for too long. She was tan, but not too tan. And her body had the curves all the girls crave. God thought she was perfect, like he thought himself to be. God was handsome, with a head full of thick, brown hair. His eyes were as blue as the sky. His body was chiseled, like his jawline. He was the definition of perfect. So, if he was perfect and Life was perfect, why don't they just become the rulers of this world. Death thought she was perfect, something he knew he was not. Death wasn't as appealing as God, but his heart was pure. Death was very skinny, pale, and always wore a hood that concealed his face. God suggested that they showed what they all could to do, trying to show off for Life. He started creating bread from stone and wine from water. Life thought that was cool and started making dogs, cats and other animals. Death just sat by and watched under the shade of a tree. Life turned and noticed that he wasn't moving.

"Come on," she nudged Death, "Let loose and have some fun."

Death got up to try and please her. He didn't do anything though.

"Go ahead," God said, "show us what you can do."

Death didn't want to. But then he looked Life in her eyes, how can he say no to her request? He prepared himself, closed his eyes and concentrated. Everything around him started to wither and die. God laughed and Life just stood there and watched. Death looked and started to cry.

"I'm so sorry," Death said just before he ran away.

"Wow," God said, "what a dick, destroying everything."

Life just watched as Death ran away. She felt a pain in her heart as he left. She knew what she was supposed to do.

"I have to go," she said to God.

And with that, Life was gone after Death. God was infuriated. Why did she love him? Why didn't she want God? He didn't know what to do, until he got a truly terrible idea. If Life didn't want him, then he'd make sure that they couldn't be together.

Death had reached a small cave in the woods, where he decided to take up camp. He can't go back. Life and God were perfect for each other, so where was he to get in the way? He just felt such a connection to her. In the midst of his thoughts, one of the dogs that got away came through the bushes in front of Death's cave. The dog's tail wagged and came over to Death. He smiled and pet it. But it withered to dust with one touch. Death started to bawl. Why was he cursed? Why was he ugly? Why did nobody love him? There was another noise in the bushes. He looked up and Life was there.

        "Hi," she said.

She ran over to him and embraced him. She just held him as he cried in her shoulder. He felt so good to be in her arms.

        "Why me?" he asked.

"Because you're perfect to me," she said

Death was ecstatic. They leaned in to solidify their love, but they were interupted by a thunderstorm that started. God was not happy. He had followed Life. God appeared in front of the cave.

"Life!" he screamed, "if you love me, I promise not to hurt Death."

"I'm sorry, but I don't love you," she responeded, "I can't leave Death."

God smiled a sinister smile that made him look truly evil.

"I was hoping it didn't come down to this,"

God spread his arms wide, closed his eyes and took a deep breath in. He opened his eyes and slammed his hand together.

"If I can't have you," God exclaimed, "then neither will Death!"

And with that he seperated Death and Life to different realms of Earth. Death was in the part where everything that dies goes, the Underworld. But Life still was on the regular part of Earth where everything lives. God created Heaven to watch over the things Life creates. He really created it to watch Life. He made it so that Life and Death could never meet, or leave their realms.

"When you love me," he said, "then I'll bring back Death just to obliterate him so we can live together without him in the way."

Life and Death have lived for many millenniums, and the only communications they have is the stored deep in the memories of Life's creations. Whether it be a spider, human, or dog, they are all gifts that Life makes for Death and he keeps all of them and treasures them. Life went on like this for, God knows how long, and now things are on the verge of changing for the worse.
