This is my first story and fan fiction, please don't kill me

A young boy, about thirteen years of age, sat in his house. No lights to be seen and all that could be heard was his disappointed sighs. He had a crimson runny liquid in and around his mouth with a knife in his hand, covered in it. He quickly wiped off some blood that was on his face.

He lived on top of a mountain, no one else but him and his family lived there. Him, his mother, his father, and his little brother. It was dead silent, the boy just sat there, looking down at what he did. He snapped his head towards a sudden noise. He scanned the area, but nothing was there. He looked back to the scene.

Blood was painted across the wooden walls, multiple glass windows, shattered. Three dead bodies laid in front of him, all cold to the touch, lifeless, and still. Each had some of their flesh ripped out and blood oozing, making a mess on the floor.

---

"Taro dear, what are you doing?" his mother looked over to him. The thirteen-year-old was grabbing a knife from the table. His dad walked in through the door with his little brother, Itaji. He was seven and had long black hair.

"Hey, big brother!" Itaji ran over to Taro, who was trembling with a knife in his hand. "Look what I did! " He raised a half piece of wood, crooked. "I cut my first piece of wood in half!" Taro just looked back at his younger brother.

"That's awesome Itaji!" his mother complimented. "Hey Taro, since you have it, why don't you help me cut these veggies for dinner." Taro didn't move. "Taro?"

"Sorry mother, father, Itaji, I just want to get stronger." His family looked at him weirdly.

"Kiddo, what do you mean? You already are strong." His dad came over and patted his back.

"Hey dad, remember what you told us once, about how something gets stronger?" Everyone was still confused at the boy, until he suddenly stabbed backward, hitting his father's vital organs. Itaji screamed in horror before running to his mother and crying. His dad was trying to stop his bleeding as Taro slowly trembled over to his mother and brother.

"Taro! What the hell are you..." his dad coughed up blood. "Doing?"

Taro replied, "Becoming stronger." before attacking his mom, he stabbed her neck and then easily killed Itaji. "I'm sorry father, you said," Taro killed his dad, "that by eating human flesh, something gets stronger." THUD. His dad's body dropped, he did it, this thirteen-year-old kid killed his family and was about to feast.

---

Days passed, and the boy still wasn't happy after consuming the rest of his family. This wasn't worth it. He sat there looking out, he was bored out of his mind, maybe he should walk down to the village and try to find some food. Suddenly, he felt an intimidating presence.

"My my, the boy really did eat his family." The boy froze at the voice, it was a deeper voice. He hesitantly looked back to see a man with short wavy black hair and plum red eyes that had slits, like cats. A chill went down his spine just looking at them "I heard someone was up here, presumed to be a demon, but I don't sense any nearby, I'm truly interested, what's your name, boy?"

"T-Taro, Shinotsu Taro." Taro looked back, trembling in fear of the presence of the figure in front of him.

"Nice to meet you Shinotsu Taro, my name is Muzan Kibutsuji. I'm curious, what is a human doing eating other humans?"

"My dad, he said something about eating humans, help something to get stronger, I want to get stronger, t-that's all." And this child actually tried it? Muzan looked at the boy and was surprised. What a strange situation this was.

"I see, I am here to inform you, humans don't get stronger by eating other humans," Taro was shocked, did his dad lie to him? Why would he? Muzan saw the confused boy and explained further, luring in the child, "but demons do, the more humans a demon eats, the stronger that they can be. Young boy," Muzan smiled, "would you like to become a demon, and get stronger?"

Get stronger? The mysterious man's offer ran in his hand like a broken record. He took a second to think, should he? He looked up at the man, the one who goes by Muzan Kibutsuji. He opened his mouth to speak, before shutting it, he took another second to think. He opened his mouth again and accepted the man's request. "Yes sir, please help me get stronger." The boy bowed in front of the man. Muzan smiled before turning over his right forearm, bringing back the sleeve and making a clean cut along his arm with one of his sharp nails on his left hand, blood dripping out.

The boy did not care that blood was dripping down the man's arm but was fascinated about what was happening. Did that man just cleanly cut his skin with his mere nail? "Cup your hands." The man said. Surprised, Taro quickly cupped his hands and let the Muzan's blood drip onto them. Moments went by before there was a mini pool of blood in his hands, "Drink the blood, and we will begin. Drink it all, the more you drink, the stronger you become, that's how it works." The boy looked down at his cupped hands, filled with blood. He leaned in and drank it. All of it. Muzan smiled with pleasure as the boy finished up.

The boy suddenly fell to his hands and knees, pain was everywhere, his muscles spazzed out and he was breathing heavily. He held his chest as it was hurting. He never felt pain this terrible. "No need to worry, the pain is only temporary. You will soon blossom, stronger than before." Taro brought his hands to his head, pulling on his head, hoping for this pain to wash away. He felt as if spikes were piercing his body from the tip of his toe to the top of his head. He felt fangs grow in and his body slowly change. Please universe, have mercy on me and stop this horrific pain. Then it did. He relaxed, his hands fell down back to the ground, his tensed muscles, all were relieved. He was glad it was over. Am I a demon now? he thought before looking up at Muzan.

"Welcome to my kingdom, Shinotsu Taro." Muzan smiled and opened his arms to greet the new demon.
