she hummed as she check the time, making sure they were on schedule with their trainings. they had finished their first stage earlier than a few other teams, putting them into a tight schedule with hours worth of training a few small breaks in between. she grabbed the crate of water bottles and walked into their room, a few of the members still running their laps around the building.
they were on their last set for the day, giving them free time for the rest of the night to cool down and rest up for the next day. she waited for them to gather into the room before giving them their bottles of water, handing them a towel after. "now that everyone's finished with their laps, shower before you go eat in the cafeteria. then, you guys can rest up for the night and get ready for tomorrow's training."
they all sighed in relief and she heard a few groans here at there. she let out a small chuckle before handing them their freshly washed shirts to change into after their shower, a few mumbles of 'thank you' coming out of them.
"hey, bachira, can you help me pick up that mat right there? you just need to bring it to the equipment room, i can take it from there." he nodded at her, trailing behind her as she placed their equipment away.
"i can help you if you want, it'd be faster for you." he gave her a grin, earning a small grin from her. they made small talk while putting the equipment back in place, small laughs coming from each other. her puzzle was slowly piecing together, a few corner pieces connecting with others.
she became more intrigued with him, hearing his small rambles whenever a topic she gave interested him. she didn't mind his rambles, she was all ears for him. "thank you for helping, but i don't want to take up too much of your time, please go get some rest." she gave him a warm smile, taking a few rolled up mats from his arms and placing them back to where she found them.
he placed the remaining mat to where she put them down, his eyes looking at her's for confirmation. all she did was give him a small nod, seeing him start to lightly jog out the room. "we'll talk soon, if that's fine with you." she turned around and felt her cheeks start to lightly heat up. a deep yet light pink hue started to show on her cheeks, the back of her hands patting her cheeks to help stop the heat slightly from spreading. the heat still continued to spread slowly, the girl starting to feel more flustered in front of him.
"yeah, i'd like that."
