Part 2

She is standing on a stool and cleaning the cobwebs. They have shifted to a newly allocated quarter in Dehradoon. Both of them are posted together.

Naina looked the state of the place and directly went into cleaning. Rajveer is supervising the little luggage they brought for their home. Entire day is spent in cleaning.

Finally at around 3pm, Naina felt too much hungry to continue.

Naina: Sir, vo kuch order kare? Mujhe bahut bhukh lag rahi hai.

Rajveer smiled, "Mai kar chuka hu. I hope pizza would be ok? Actually humare pass kuch tha nai to I thought ki pizza would be easy to eat"

Naina smiled enthusiastically, " pizza to favourite hai mera. Aapko kaise pata?"

Rajveer: Vo actually maa ne bataya tha.

Naina smiled indulgently. They shared the pizza together.

Naina: ghar par actually kuch saman hi nai hai.. na kitchen ka nahi kuch aur. Sab na sahi lekin zaruri saman to lana hoga.

Rajveer: ok. Chalo fir chalte hai lekar ane

Naina: par mai bahut thak gai hu. Subah se safai kar rahi hu.

Rajveer: par mujhe akele kaise samajh aayega.

Naina: Mai list bana du?

Rajveer made a confused face and started scratching his head, "vo Naina tum chalo na sath me. Mujhe sach me samajh nai aayega"

Naina who is cranky due to tiredness try to coarse him, "are sir, aap army me captain hai. Aapko itna simple sa kam kaise samajh nahi aa sakta hai"

Rajveer is bewildered, "are to army captain ke job profile me ye kahan likha hota hai ki use ye sab kam ane chahiye"

Naina is irritated. She is super tired and in no mood to go for shopping now, "army captain ke na sahi, husband ke job profile me to hota hai na ye sab. Shadi ke lie han karne se pahle nai socha aapne?"

Rajveer is stumped with this logic, but he still knew that if he will go alone then it would be of no use. He waited for few minutes then said, "Naina bad me chale jayenge. Tum rest kar lo abhi"

Naina stomped her leg in anger, "kidhar aaram karu? Bataiye? Kuch hai yahan par baithne ke lie bhi?"

Rajveer gulped at her phoolan's anger. Well he knew whom he is marrying, so what can be done now 😉

He murmured, "shadi ke bad aur kuch to fayda hua nai biwi hone ka, ladai jarur karni hai. Matlab kismat hi kharab hai"

She went to complete the cleaning. She wiped and mopped all the places and finally the house is looking sparkling clean.

But now she is very tired. She took a change of clothes and went for a shower. While showering she can register some noises coming from outside but she ignored it.

When she came she can see a bed installed in their bedroom and a sofa getting installed in their drawing room.

Naina raised her eyes at Rajveer.

Rajveer touched his ears lightly and very sweetly said, "sorry. Vo kya hai na ki ye meri pahli shadi hai, to mujhe pata nai tha ki thoda arrangement karke rakhna chahiye"

Naina couldn't help but smile at him.

Rajveer: tum aaram kar lo mai sofa install karvata hun.

Naina: aise hi bed par? Bed sheet kahan hai.

He hit his head in frustration and she chuckled at his inexperience.

Naina: Mai ghar se lekar ayi thi. Abhi vahi dal deti hu.

Meanwhile their sofa is installed and repair persons have left.

Rajveer went to their bedroom, "kaisa laga bed?"

Naina scrunched her face, "queen size kyu? King size lena tha na. Sofa bhi recliner lete hum"

Rajveer: islie ... isilie I didn't want to buy anything on my own. I knew ki tumhe pasand nai aayega.

Naina: are ? Matlab maine aapko kitchen ka saman lane bola tha aur aap ye sab le aye.

Rajveer: to I thought you are uncomfortable islie lekar aya mai.

Naina: par mujhe humare ghar ka furniture khud select karna tha.

Rajveer smiled on her reference of, "humara ghar". They hardly talked much with each other and never about their relationship.

But today Naina speak about their home, like she have given it some thought. She has dreams about it, makes Rajveer feel so much special.

He sat near her while looking at her, "aur kya kya socha hai tumne?"

Naina turned towards him while sitting cross legged , "hum na pahle to bed change Karenge. King size bed lenge. Sone ke waqt jagah honi chahiye na. Aur fir hum bahut sare plants lagayenge balcony me aur garden me bhi. Aur ek jhula bhi ..vo jo bamboo vala hota hai na vo..."

Her eyes met his curious ones and she realised what she has been saying. Her face colour turned red in a blink and she looked down while chewing her lower lip.

Rajveer kept looking at her and then pulled her lower lip to get it free from her teeth. Naina froze at his touch. They are inches apart, she can feel his hot breath fanning her face. They kept the position for few seconds.

Rajveer: thanks Naina.

She didn't looked up to him but smiled and nodded. He closed his eyes to gain courage and kissed her on her forehead.

Naina looked up in surprise. He is looking at her so lovingly, " it's ok right?"

She blushed but nodded in acceptance. He side hugged her and sat on the headboard. Naina kept her head on his shoulder.

Rajveer: vaise itna gussa aa kyu rha tha tumhe?

Naina: kitna thak gai thi mai. Chai bhi nai pee maine subah se.

Rajveer: to matlab jab tum thaki hoti ho, tum cranky ho jati ho.

Naina: Han.

Rajveer: ok. Point noted.

Naina: matlab?

Rajveer: aj se jab bhi tum thaki hogi mai tumhare 10 mile radius me bhi nai aayunga.

Naina hit him on his chest.

Rajveer: aah Naina. Vaise I must say jitna socha tha usse jaldi meri wife ka role adopt kar lia tumne

Naina blushed and Rajveer loved the change of colour on her face.

Rajveer: Naina tum khush ho na?

Naina kept looking away but replied, "han. Aur aap?"

Rajveer: khushnaseeb hote hai vo jinhe apni mohabbat milti hai,
Meri khushi kaise bayan karu, mujhe to vo mil gya hai jiski maine ibadat ki thi

Naina's face is glowing like full moon and their life is becoming brighter with it
