When you first see my face you would of thought "a merchant", "a farmer" and the last thought "a blacksmith" and yet I was non of those things, I was but a pirate! A captain I was, until I was marooned (marooned - To be abandoned with no food, drink, or possessions) by my crew.
A great crew they were, a magnificent one at that I'd say! We've were best known across the seas as the pirates of The Fallen Rose, by my glorious ship. Anyone who'd seen it- well let's just say a dead men tell no tales (dead men tell no tales - An expression meaning no survivors left behind).
Me crew was by my side every step of the way, but at last, they betrayed me for the treasures that awaited them. They were going to throw me over board.
"You're time has come you scurvy dog (scurvy dog - a pirate is calling you an insulating name)" the "new" captain said as me feet were on the plank.
I was anything but happy at that moment, but I silently became the sharks bait. I jumped off the plank and into the water I went as I swam away from my ship. The crew was laughing as each drank their rum to celebrate the new captain as I swam to the nearest island.
When I got to the island I looked left and right, with only a couple of trees, the ground beneath my feet and the sun shining onto my head. It was burning my back as I watched the boat that once belonged to me was just drifting away as singing was coming from it.
I was left there to rot on the island.
