i said i was going to be active, so here i am fulfilling my promise.

it was still raining and by now even her shoes and socks were soaked. she was standing right under a dim streetlight with her bare arms tightly wrapped around herself in attempts to trap some body hit. she mentally screamed for ruining her brand new nikes.
ivy blinked a couple of times. how did he know she was heading this way? had he followed her? her thoughts felt completely spaced out.
"are you following me?" ivy asked tilting her head slightly the side, she was suspicious of this blonde man's behaviour and was not prepared to have any more bad luck today.
"get in, it's raining." he said completely ignoring her question, to ivy it sounded more of a demand than anything else and that did not stick right with her.
"no. i don't even know who you are," she remarked diverting her eyes from the car to look left and right in hopes of seeing someone else who could potentially help her. her head snapped back to the car when she heard him click his tongue and open the car door on the driver's side.
ivy held her ground as his tall frame walked around the car and stopped in front of her. his face was serious and eyebrows furrowed which made him look angry. she noted that he might of had a resting bitch face with the looks of it.
he was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans and a simple white tee, it was tight around his biceps and broad shoulders which gave it a nice fit.
he was now standing in front of her, she could see his face much clearer than at the party and truly, he was just as handsome as she remembered. his pale skin and red eyes making him look almost albino. her heart was betraying her as it sped up and her breath caught in her throat. a short moment past where they both said nothing and just looked at at each other, just like at the party. his observant eyes slightly darting around her face in curiosity. ivy felt a little too exposed under his gaze standing there in her wet clothes. she probably looked terrible being all soaked and her afro was definitely frizzy due to the rain. she was sure she was involuntarily blushing in slight embarrassment and she hated it, she had to stay composed. she didn't know this man.. he could have malicious intentions for all she knew.
"look, i know you don't know me but its poring and there is no way you're going to find your way around here. tell me where you live and i'll drive you," he calmly advised nodding his head slightly. ivy didn't reply, she didn't know what to say. he sounded truthful enough but she can never be too sure.
"i won't do anything, i promise." he added noticing the suspicion in her eyes, his voice was soft and reassuring. his hair was damp due to the rain and his shirt was becoming slightly see through clinging to his torso. ivy quickly looked away, her face felt a little hot and there was not way she'd allow him to see that his sweet talk was working. what game was he playing at?
"why? do you care if i get lost?" she looked back narrowing her eyes up at him. he raised his eyebrows in slight surprise at her question a sly smirk playing on his lips.
"frankly i don't care, i just don't want shit on my conscious if i see on the news that your dumbass got kidnapped." he complained amused at her attempt to guilt trip him turning back around and walking to his car.
"now get in cotton candy before i change my mind," he waved his hand around indifferently and shoved the other in his jean pocket.
