Think about love as a mountain.

Something that you admire from afar. A beautiful thing,

That you'd love to reach the top of.

You see other's live up there,

And you would love to live at love's peak.

As you begin to climb this mountain of ecstasy,

You are infatuated by its beauty,

The joy it brings you and all the happiness it leaves you with.

 Everything is perfect.

Then at a point of climbing you start to go downhill.

You begin to wonder what if you are going the wrong direction.

You begin to get scared that you'll never get to the top.

You begin to rink of turning back.

There are a majority of people who live at the bottom of this mountain afraid to ascend it.

But the chosen few who decide to continue on this path,

Probably holding on only by faith,

They start to realize the path is going up,

And they are no longer in a world of infatuation and ecstasy,

But they start to see for what it truly is.

They yearn for this new phenomenon,

Because to them this all they want.

All they need, they are willing to become venerable,

 Put themselves in danger,

Get them self killed for this abstract thing.

Now why put yourself in danger?

Why go after such an absurd thing?

Well only those who have finished the journey,

And made it to love's peak can tell you.

Or you could try to journey up the mountain yourself.
