Part 1~ A start of a new story

Tilly's POV ~

"Oh for fuck sake move !"

First years do my head in each and every year it didn't change and they got worse every single year.

They were at the platform crying and shouting and pushing I mean who even are they.

I just need to get this term over and done with so I can go home.

Tilly is a pure blood with close relatives that are death eaters and although she was a proud self righteous Slytherin the thought of the dark lord makes her head hurt and her stomach turn .

Yeah she likes to push people around a bit but she wasn't a killer.

She pushed her way through a group of tiny first years making them cower.

"Pansy" she gave her friend a hug "wow it's been a while" pansy smiled they have been close friends for a while same sort of attitude I guess.

"I know the summer felt twice as long for some reason" pansy placed her finger on her lip " anyways we are back now" she seemed weirdly happy for school starting she starting to act like a first year Gryffindor to be.

"What's with the jumping around pansy it's just school" I laughed pansy is weird sometimes then it popped into my head.

Draco Malfoy.

She was looking for him of course she was she could at least try to hide it I mean everyone knows she's head over heals for him.

I gave her a shove and she turned round and scowled at me.

"Hey what was that for" she said pissed off.

I laugh "he's over there" I pointed over to a group of Slytherin boys about to get on the train and waved.

Tilly is quite popular with most people especially with the Slytherin boys she just had a good time .

I watched them as they made their way over. Blaise hugged me tightly and sighed "ugh I missed you tills the summer was so boring without you" I gave him a smirk.

Me and Blaise are best friends I mean he was the least problematic doesn't like fighting and isn't man hoe not that he couldn't be I mean he's handsome but he isn't like that.

Draco bent down and kissed my cheek it was soft and sweet slightly too long for Pansy's liking I could tell by the expression on her face.

It went sour.

"Hey go get him if you want him" I gave her a push and smiled.

Over and over again I had to reassure her that I didn't like Draco it was getting kinda toxic but I get where she's coming from he's hot and a guy like that doesn't stay single for long so I have no idea what she's waiting for.

The rest of the boys were to busy talking to notice that the train was gonna leave so they got dragged on by pansy and I.

"Ok we get it we get it" goyle said looking flustered.

We all sat down at the far end of the train in the compartment we always sat in not that it made a difference.

I sighed as I sat down and received a funny look from Malfoy.

"What's wrong with you Carrie " he gave my a expression as to say I'm only one that can have problems in this school.

"Nothing weirdo" he glared but I didn't give a shit.

My relationship with Malfoy was Rocky if you will I mean I know he likes me but not like I want to be with you like you if you catch me drift and I've sorta move past that not that I don't hook up with people it's just I don't want to be one of Malfoys girls.

I kept my head down most of the way and the journey seemed to go fast.

We got of at the platform and walked over to the cartridges.

I stopped in my tracks I'd never noticed it before some how I honestly have no idea.

In front of the carriages were these large dark looking horses but they weren't horses they were bones she had never seen them before.

"Tills come on what are you looking at" pansy said giving her a confused looking stare.

"You don't see them?" Was I seeing things I mean I know I'm stressed but I can't be seeing things.

"See what?" Pansy stood beside me and tried to get a better view of what I was looking at.

"No idea what your talking about but we need to go or we won't get a cartridge"

Pansy started to walk ahead so I shook myself of and went to follow after her but I felt a small tug on my robe.

"I can see them to you know" it was one of potters friends I was going to push her off but something about her made me want to question more "what are they" I said turning my head to look at her properly.

"Thestrals" she said in a soft and soothing voice "you can only see them if you've seen someone die" she tilted her head down "I'm so sorry" I patted her shoulder and she gave me a soft smile "you too".

I heard pansy shout from a far carriage "eh I have to go" I smiled and left some of the Gryffindors aren't as bad as you think.

"What took you so long" pansy said not turning her head to look at me.

"Nothing just bumped into someone" I lied not wanting to tell her about my run in with one of Harry potters little friends.

"Right" she said.

I could tell she didn't believe me but I didn't want to start an argument seen it was the first day of the new term.

I placed me arm round her shoulder and pulled her in tight I knew that this would irate her but I didn't care "come one lighten up how knows maybe this year Malfoy will ask you out" I said rubbing her shoulder "he won't" I looked her and smirked "only time will tell".
