My name is Akira Lionovski, I live as a citizen in a world where there are usual monster attacks. The military have set up borders and even an association to combat these entities. I don't have parents and I live alone. I was told I was a cursed child and murdered my parents when they were sleeping. Eventually I started believing it, then everyone started to believe it. Here in this city the people here don't like me very much, they push me around, avoid me, and sometimes even beat me to the ground. My entire life i've been weak and useless but after this, everything changed~

Chapter 1: Resented

Akira was walking to the park and saw a small kiosk that was selling necklaces and he looked at some and found one he liked. It was a chain with a small arrowhead shaped locket. He tried to buy it but was kicked out by the owner.

Akira was used to this kind of behavior but it still upset him, so he went to the park to cool off. He got there and ate some chips he had been saving when a group of guys approached him. They told him to leave the park or they would have to make him leave by force. Akira was used to this so he got up and left. Akira was bored and decided to head to the skymall to visit old man Johnathan. 6 years ago when Akira was 8, he was kicked out of a candy store by the employee and was beat up by him. Old man Jonathan, the owner of the store helped Akira up and fired his employee. Akira looked at the old man and asked "why? Why would you help scum like me?" The old man looked at him and said "you aren't scum, little boy. Even if you were, I believe that all humans deserve respect as long as they respect others. People who respect others, genuinely deserve to be treated right. I can see it in your eyes, you are a kind boy but have been hurt alot. Come inside, you can have as much candy as you want, on the house!" Akira looked at Old Man Jonathan with a light in his eyes. This old candy store owner had taught him the basic values of a human being, which are supposed to be learned from one's parents or friends. Old man Jonathan gave Akira a goal in life. Akira's goal was to find out the truth of his past and uncover the reasons of why he is hated. Akira got to Old Man Jonathan's new candy store and bought loads of candy from him. As he walked out, people staring at him with disgust, he found a spot where nobody was sitting and sat down. He started eating some candy when he heard a deep, calming voice speak to him, "Prepare". Akira looked around for the source but couldn't see it. The only thing he saw was a giant monster about to fly into the window. Out of reflex Akira punched the monster and it exploded with so much force it shattered all the windows around it and made a bright light shine through the city. The dust and rumbling settled leaving the monster's blood all over the mall and Akira standing with his fist out, still smoking. Akira looked around and thought "W-what the hell!? Who did that?!" Everyone was looking at Akira and cheered for him. He thought to himself "But why? I didn't do anything... I just happened to be here when it happened".

Chapter 2: The Lifestyle

The following day at school Akira had his first friendly encounter with someone. His name was Makashiro Amazaki and he told Akira about Stands and Geasses. He told Akira he sensed massive power in him and wanted to recruit him into his gang. In this world there are secret gangs devoted to fighting the monsters of the earth. Akira was reluctant but he decided to join his gang. His gang was small but felt like true family to Akira. The gang was composed of

Makashiro Amazaki

Honto Amazaki

William Shirobiyo

Bryan Shuisryu and

Ryui Amanako

Akira introduced himself and the gang got along pretty quickly. Over the next few weeks the gang kept training Akira but he couldnt use the same kind of strength he used at the mall. Every friday the gang would go out to eat pizza and it truly felt like family. Akira was so happy since he had found what he felt was a family. Akira kept training and got really strong but still couldn't bring up the strength he had during the mall incident. Akira was truly happy for the first time in his life as he felt the void in his heart close up. A few days later the gang was walking home from the pizza shop when they encountered a class-A level monster. The gang was unprepared but still decided to fight. The monster was destroying the surrounding houses and was slowly beating the gang. Akira was told to punch the monster right in the face while Makashiro and his brother Honto would strike it down with their stands Mismatch and Terror. Akira jumped in the air and punched the monster but the monster wasnt hurt. It swung its claw down onto Honto slicing him in half instantly. Akira was standing there with Honto's blood splattered all over him and Makashiro yelling at him while crying. The same voice from before whispered into Akira's ear saying "Shine above them all". Then the monster exploded while leaving the same white light from the mall incident. Makashiro got up and punched Akira in the face and yelled "damnit! You worthless piece of crap! He died because of your worthlessness! I knew I was wrong to recruit you! You're just a loser who got credit for something he didn't do! Get out of here now!"
