Chapter 13

Alex's POV

It is 2:49 in the morning and it's the 5th time Ava has woke up crying.

I decided just to put her in my bed and lay with her instead of putting her in her room alone. Ava was still awake and was still sniffling a bit.

Jack G came in and looked at me

"Alex are you ok"

"Ya, just Ava woke up crying again, but she's almost asleep" I said looking at her

Jack G walked over to where I was sitting in my bed and looked at Ava.

"Here, let me see her"

I handed him Ava She spoke to him

"Hi Jackie" she said yawning

"Hi Ava Grace" he said smiling

Ava cuddled up to Jack and closed her eyes. Jack sang to her so she could fall asleep.

"When your legs don't work like they used to before
And I can't sweep you off of your feet
Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love?
Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks?" He sang softly

I smiled and soon Ava was asleep again. Jack laid her down in her spot on my bed and covered her up with a blanket.

"You're really good with her" I said looking at him

"So are you, you're a great mother to her" he said putting an arm around my waist

"Thanks"

"You should get back to sleep it's 3 in the morning" he said standing up

"Wait, Jack"

"hmm"

"Will you....you know, stay in here with me and Ava" I said looking at him

"Sure" he smiled and laid down on the other side of the bed.

We were each on a side of Ava, and got under the blanket

"Goodnight Alex" Jack said

"Goodnight Jack"

And with that I fell asleep.
---Morning---

I woke up to voices talking

"Morons, shut up, you're gonna wake them up"

"Well sorry mr. bossy"

Then I heard a camera go off, but I was still half asleep and still tired

"Get out morons before you get kicked" I said rolling over to my pillow

"Sorry"

They walked out and I tried to sleep again

"Well good morning Alex" I heard Jack G say

"And good night" I said back

"Come on you've got to get up, you're lucky Ava's still asleep"

I sat up and looked to my left, Jack was starring at me and Ava was in the middle of us snuggled up by my side.

"What time is it" I asked

"11:05" he replied

"I should probably get up then, so I can take Ava to the doctor"

"What time is it at" he asked

"1:15"

I decided not to wake Ava up yet and go get dressed

"Will you watch her while I go get ready" I asked Jack

"Sure"

I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom. I took a shower, blow dried my hair and changed into Dark Blue jeans rolled up, a light blue tank top, white converse, put my hair in a ponytail and walked out.

I guess Ava woke up because she was sitting on Jacks lap and they were taking selfies.

I went digging through my closet trying to find a sweatshirt but couldn't find one at all.

"Having troubles" I heard Jack say from behind me

"Jeez don't scare me like that and yes I can't find a sweatshirt"

"Sorry and here just take mine, it's to small for me anyways" he said handing me a blue sweatshirt that had 'Obey' a crossed it

"Thanks" I said grabbing it and putting it on

"Hm" he said laughing a bit

"What?"

"You look better than me in that sweatshirt"

"Well I do know how to rock sweatshirts" I said striking a pose and laughing

"Oh god please don't ever do that again" he said walking to me and giving me a hug

"Thanks for helping with Ava last night" I said into his shoulder

"No problem, she adorable"

We walked back to the bad and I picked Ava up

"Mommy, my tummy hurts" she said laying her head down on my chest

"I know baby, we're gonna go to the doctors in a bit" I said kissing her forehead

"And that pictures going on Instagram" Jack said

"What picture"

He showed me and it was so cute. it was me kissing Ava's head.

"Awe that's cute"

He posted it with the caption "My 2 favorite girls😘 #FeelBetterAvaGrace" and tagged me and Ava

Jack went down stairs and I went to go change Ava, I changed her into Black leggings and a pink long sleeve t-shirt with her jacket and boots.

I walked back down stairs and grabbed my phone, keys and money so we could leave.

"Where ya going" Cameron asked

"Doctors for Ava"

"Can I come" he asked

"Why" I laughed a bit

"Cause I like spinning in the doctors chair" he said in a duh tone

"Whatever let's go then"
