a few days later.

Scott just doesn't listen. Stiles and I practically begged him to break off his date with Alison. The date was taking place tonight at Lydia's party. At least three dozen of people would be at this party.

My original plan was to be at this party for one hour, but now I have to be there from when Scott arrives to when he leaves. Just in case.

By the time I reached home, the sun was starting to set. I planned on going out tonight, I need to protect Scott from the Argent's.

"Mom!" I yell out, closing the door behind me setting my backpack down beside the front door, "I'm home".

"In the living room hun" I heard her voice carry.

I follow her voice to where she said she was at, but I wasn't prepared for what was in there with her. Derek Hale. What the hell was he doing here.

"What are you doing here" I asked, squinting my eyes at him.

I've known the Hale's for my whole life. Uncle Alan was their Druid, family friend, doctor, advisor whatever you want to call it. I haven't seen Derek since he left a few years back.

"That's one way to say hello to your favorite person" He smirked, leaning back in his chair.

"Favorite my ass. You left without even saying bye" I roll my eyes, crossing my arms.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw my mom stare at me silently tell me to watch my language.

"I told you I was sorry" Derek replies, standing up to walk towards me.

He 6'3 figured towered over my 5'7. We both stared intently into each other eyes before bursting out laughing, hugging each other.

"I missed you D" I mumbled into his broad chest.

"Missed you too Liz" He replied before we let each other go.

"Eliza, it's Scott. He was bitten by an Alpha. But we don't know who" Mom said as soon as Derek and I turned back towards her.

"I know. What makes it more strange is the Argents unexpectantly moving here as soon as Scott is turned" I stopped.

Wait. I know what they're after.

"The alpha. They came because the Alpha led them here" I say, "But why?"

"That's what we're gonna figure out" Mom nodded before standing up, "look I'm going to start dinner so y'all can eat before leaving".

"Okay. I'm going to go do my homework" I say, bumping shoulders with Derek before leaving out of the living room.

"Well, I guess i'll just watch tv" I could hear Derek sigh as I grabbed my backpack and went upstairs to my room.

in Derek's car.

"The moons almost at its peak" I say looking out the window at luna.

"I know, I can feel it" Derek replies before speeding up.

"So what's the plan" I ask sitting back in the passenger seat of his black Camaro.

"I know the Argent's are gonna be out tonight, so we save him. Keep him from killing somebody" He says, left hand gripping the steering wheel tighter, "when we get out there, keep your distance. Stay in the shadows".

"I always d-" I start to say before he rudely inturrupted me.

"I'm serious Eliza" Derek sternly said, looking over at me, "Scott is turning for the first time. Keep your eyes out. The Argent's shoot first, and ask questions later".

"You must've forgot who I am" I smirked reaching into my thigh holster pulling out my custom matte black with purple engraving, that dad left for me, Glock 23.

That was my baby. Dad really came in clutch with my custom weapons he left me. The gun is filled with special bullets made by me. They contain a special sedative that temporarily disables any being, supernatural or not, up to 14 hours. I like to call it Leniendo. It can knock the biggest being on they ass with just one hit, one bullet. All of my weapons contain it.

"Calm down Elmer Fudd" Derek said laughing.

"Shut up" I giggled, placing the gun back into its holster.

Derek pulled to the back of his past home, which was abandoned due to it being owned by the county.

"Ready" He asked looking at me after turning off the car.

I sigh looking back at him, "not like I have a choice".

We both nod and get out the car.

middle of woods.

"Run! Don't stop" Derek yelled, dragging a hurt Scott.

I take off back towards the house, dodging bullets as they flew past me hitting trees. I abruptly stopped, spinning around firing back at the Argent's. I smiled to myself as I watch 3 men go down clutching their arm and leg. That's how you knock em down.

"Eliza, let's go" Derek yelled out, snapping me out of my victory.

animal clinic.

"we need help" I bang on the front door.

Derek behind me holding a passed out Scott.

"come in back" Uncle Alan rapidly said, opening the door letting us in.

We ran in before the Argent's pulled up here. Derek carefully laid Scott on the table. He looks terrible. Stains of black blood on his mouth and chin. His grey long sleeve shirt is covered in blood.

"Derek cut his shirt open" I said while running around the lab grabbing the items needed to get the bullet out of his body.

I heard a rip meaning he ripped his shirt open.

"Argent's here" Uncle Alan said as I gave Scott a shot to speed up his healing process.

I looked up at Derek signaling him to quietly exit out the back. I listened intently to their conversations as I quickly and quietly removed the silver bullet from his abdomen.

"where is he Deaton? We saw his car outside" A male voice said.

"where is who?" Uncle Alan replied, obviously playing dumb.

As soon as the bullet hit the pan, Scott started to wake up. His body jerked as he coughed violently after taking a deep breathe. He looked around confusingly before setting his eyes on me.

"Am-am I dead?" He said.

"You're fine Scotty, but I'm going to need you to be quiet" I start to thread the needle to stitch him up.

"huh" He said throwing his head back on the table.

"I've given you something to speed up the heeling process" I said before starting to stitch him up.

His head leaning up, looking down as the needle connected his skin again. Yeah, he is totally out of it right now. Scott then looked up at me.

"But you're 16, how do you know how to do this?" He asked, making me chuckle.

"Very true" I said finishing up the last stitch, "but 90 percent of the time, I'm mostly a normal teenage girl".

"mostly" Scott asked his eyes starting to get droopy.

The medicine is working.

"Mostly" I confirmed smirking, his head hitting the table meaning he's out cold.

I shook my head and started to clean the blood away from his wounds. After patching him up, I called Derek so he can sneak him back into his room. Derek came and got him, leaving uncle Alan and I to clean up the place.

"Did you shoot 3 people tonight?" Uncle Alan asked coming into the examine room.

"No" I shook my head, "I shot 5 people tonight".
