Surprise! You're the traitor!

Intermission

The day before:

Shinso entered the arcade, meanwhile y/n was in the LOV's hideout.

"So you aren't gonna kill me?" Y/n says, Shigaraki nods.

"Yeah, you have a chance into getting into 1A or I presume you did," Shigaraki smiles.

"Huh?! I didn't tell you that!!" Y/n freaks out. How did they know?

"Easy. I believed that you can do it." Y/n didn't know this but what Shigaraki has just told them was a lie.

A plain lie.

  I wanted y/n to feel special when they advance in villainy. I wanted to manipulate y/n into joining. Their quirk was made for murder! Y/n could be a hard opponent to fight with even for the smaller pro heroes.

I don't care for y/n being the traitor! I already have another! As long as I have y/n apart of my team I'm fine. They have useful skills I can use to win the game.

Only if their quirk had a good matchup.

For example, y/n fighting Bakugou, the reason why y/n lost was because of Bakugou speed and the heat of the explosions evaporating the blood.

So if hypothetically speaking if y/n were to fight someone like Endeavor and was equally matched or ranked, they would lose due to Endeavors extremely hot fire.

Not to mention y/n's quirk disadvantages.

If they were to give into their bloodlust, as seen before, y/n would lose control of themselves. Like when they were running and almost killed a child.

To stop that would mean they'll have to take a pill that would weaken their quirk!

Blood loss, pretty obvious. If y/n uses too much than they can regain. That could risk death.

Plus their is a certain time limit. Y/n didn't need to worry about that since their fights have been somewhat short.

Plus y/n would have to worry about obtaining the opponent's blood again after the time limit ends.

On the contrary, I think y/n would do good against multiple opponents. Kinda like the mobile infection games where if you touched a AI they would join your team, that AI would touch another and so on and so fourth.

So comparing this, y/n would grab an opponent's blood, take it, and use it to take other opponent's blood with it.

But the problem holds, how much can y/n take physically.

"Hey, y/n?" Shigaraki.

"Yeah?" Y/n asks.

"How about officially joining the LOV?"

Y/n looked surprised, "no." They say.

"It'll make you stronger," just get them on your side, that's step 1.

"I want to be a beacon of hope for kids with quirks like me!" Y/n replied.

"Will it work?" Shigaraki asks.

"Maybe..."

"See, if I would apply your logic to someone like Vlad King. He would be famous."

"1. He's already famous, 2. I have turned a crowd into loving me! People actually LIKE me now!" Y/n smiles heroically.

"But what happens when your past finally catches up with you, well let's say you do become a famous 'beacon of hope', you create a fan base and people idolize you." Shigaraki turns his head to the computer.

"But then you are exploited for having a dangerous criminal past, the people with quirks like yours are going to be hated more than they currently do. You'll be arrested and society would hate you. And it'll be all your fault." Shigaraki turns back to y/n.

"Don't you understand? I know what's best for you. It's the only route! It isn't heroic to be responsible for death now is it y/n. But that's what you are good at, murder. That's what you are born to do!"

Y/n said nothing, in their eyes they were right. They can't run away from their past nor can they hide it.

It's their fault they are in that situation, it's their fault that they were born like this, everything is their fault.

Shigaraki was right! This is how Y/n will handle the situation!

"Fine. I'll join." Y/n said with hesitation.

"Good. Welp! Welcome y/n!" Shigaraki spreads his hands out wide and smiles.

"Good choice y/n you—"

Ding!

It was a phone notification. Y/n pulled it out. "Oh it's Shinso!" Y/n mumbles.

"Who is it?" Shigaraki asks.

"It's my friend, he wants me to meet up!" Y/n replies.

"Where?" Kurogiri asks, he grabs a notepad and scribbles something down.

"Fazbear Arcade, welp I should get ready!" Y/n runs out.

"Fazbear arcade. That must be Shinso. Kurogiri take me there." Shigaraki's face drops and he rolls his eyes.

"On it sir."
