atsushis dilemma

dazai pov:
it was just any other monday. i was walking in the rain on my way to school when i suddenly slipped and fell on my face.

i passed out for a good 20 minutes. as i was opening my blurry eyes, i saw a wild furry running towards me.

my body was still motionless but i was able to recognize the furry.

he pulled me up onto my feet and started shaking me yelling "DAZAI WAKE UP!!"

my vision was now clear. i was able to recognize the guy in front of me. he had white hair and very uneven bangs. he smiled at me awkwardly.

"hey atsushi~" i said, rubbing the dirt from the puddle off my uniform. i gave him a questioning look.

"what's with the outfit?!" i gazed at the furry standing in front of me.

he told me that over the 2 week break, he got a job at a place made for entertaining children.

i asked him why he was still wearing his costume and turns out his story was quite sad.

after coming home from work, he wanted to go to his apartment but it seemed that one of the children stole his keys.

he decided to go ask the owner of the building for a duplicate but the owner freaked out and started spraying his eyes with pepper spray.

he had to call akutagawa to come pick him up since he couldn't see.

akutagawa ended up getting extremely frustrated since he drove past atsushi so many times because he wouldn't have imagined the furry who kept bumping into everything was his friend.

they drove to akutagawas place. akutagawa kept lecturing him about how dumb his new job was.

"well at least i have eyebrows" atsushi said since he was tried of all the personal attacks coming from akutagawa, but he ended up just getting slapped on the head.

they had nice sleepover. atsushi tried sleeping on the floor but he kept getting nightmares about ed sheeran.

the boys listened to mitski in an attempt to calm atsushi down but that just made him tear up.

they both eventually fell asleep together and where woken up by akutagawa's sister gin the next morning.

they finished catching up and now arrived at the school.
