[Neos POV]

As I walked into the forest my hunger grew greater. It was beginning to become unbearable, I had to eat soon or I could die. My vision began to get blurry, but right as I was on the break of giving up, I smelt blood. I rushed to where the blood was coming from and saw a woman on the ground with her leg torn to shreds as though she had just been mauled by a bear. I walked over to her quietly and she just stared at me with lifeless eyes. I crouched down beside her and whispered in her ear, "Do you wish for death?" She just nodded. To make things easier for her, I snapped her neck, putting her life to a halt. I then bit into her neck sucking out every last drop of blood that was flowing through her body. As I stood up my mouth dripped with blood. I stared at that woman's limp body and wondered, why someone would give their life away just like that. I dug a hole and then gently placed the body inside before I covered the hole back up. "May you rest in peace," I said mournfully.
Right as I was about to leave I heard footsteps coming toward my location. I looked around frantically, scared of getting caught by the hunters, but when I saw no one I calmed down. I turned back to the grave and saw a man standing beside it just staring with a blank expression. My eyes widened as the man turned to look at me.
"Why did you kill this poor soul? She has done no harm to you." He asked with a stern face.
I replied, "She had asked for me to end her life."
"Is that so?" He asked with a curious face.
I just nodded then looked back at the grave and sighed. I turned away from the man and the grave and started to walk off. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I flinched slightly, I turned to see the man staring at me with a smile that made me uneasy.
"I'm sorry but I never got your name." He said.
"Neo", I mumbled.
"Nice to meet you Neo, I'm Abriel."
"Nice to meet you too, Abriel." I said then continued to wander out of the forest, leaving that strange man there by himself.

As I was walking back to my apartment I couldn't stop thinking about Abriel. The way he didn't care when I killed that woman, he just smiled. After I explained of course. I groaned and opened the door to my apartment and walked in, shutting the door behind me. I walked to the bathroom and started the shower for myself. After I undressed I stepped into the shower. For a good while, I stared at the floor as the water dripped down my hair. As I thought about Abriel my face turned a bright red. I couldn't get him out of my head, he was just imprinted in my mind and he just wouldn't leave. It irritated my soul.
Just as I was about to finish my shower I heard a loud bang come from the kitchen. I got out of the shower and threw on my boxers and a shirt quickly before rushing out of the bathroom and to the kitchen. What I saw was a little odd to me but not completely. A young woman, with wolf-like ears and tail, was lying on my kitchen floor. She had long navy blue hair and was wearing shorts with a red hoodie, she had no shoes and she was covered in cuts and bruises. I picked her up and placed her on my couch. I got the first-aid kit, wrapped up her cuts, and treated her bruises. I sat in front of the couch and waited for her to wake up.
