At ten years old Kim Areum decided that her dream is to become an entertainer... a singer... an idol.

⋆.ೃ࿔*:･As a Ten year old, she didn't really understand the hardships trainees have to go through on a daily basis, but she insisted that this was what she wanted to become. Her parents had no choice but to let their daughter pursue her dreams if that's what made her happy.⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
⋆.ೃ࿔*:･She had left all her life and friends back at home, and came to Korea just to become an idol. She secretly knew that this wasn't going to be easy but she had to give it a try if she actually wanted to become an idol.⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
⋆.ೃ࿔*:･She had tried auditioning in many different companies at one time. She didn't think all of them would accept her...⋆.ೃ࿔*:･

This week has been immensely hard for her. She wasn't used to being put on strict diets, nor was she used to training every single day. After all, she was still a Ten year old.
This is the week Areum met fourteen year old Chan. He had already been here for a year already. They had both grown closer since Chan had helped her in her Korean. She knew little to no Korean. Chan knew how she felt since he had been in the same position a year ago.

Chan and Areum had already started doing everything together at this point. From training, to him taking Areum back to her dorm. ( Areum lived with two older female trainees that took care of her ).

⋆.ೃ࿔*:･Monthly evaluation week⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
Areum has been dreading this week ever since Chan told her about it. Not only was she scared of getting kicked out. She was scared of disappointing everyone around her especially Chan since he was the one who taught her most of the things they took...
Low and behold she passed! She was happy that she passed, but was even happier when she met up with chan and told him about it!
Bangchan pov:
I was walking back from practice when I felt someone jump on my back from behind. Suddenly I heard a loud ( CHANNIEEEEEEE I PASSEDDDDDDD!!!!!! ) I already knew that it was Areum. she was obviously going to pass. Her talent was exquisite!!
Areum pov:
After I told Chan about me passing the evaluation he hugged me so tight that I couldn't even breathe!
"Channie I c-can't breathe"
"Oh sorry I was just so excited for you.." he says as he scratches his neck.
"no worries," Areum says with a beautiful wide smile on her face.

Chan swore he felt something tingling on his stomach but decided to push away his feelings and continue listening to Areum explaining what happened in the evaluation.

⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ At this point, Areum has grown up to become a beautiful young woman. The younger trainees would stare in awe as she walked to the practice room every day. That wasn't much of a bother to her though, since she barely even noticed anyone staring at her.⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
Areum however was losing hope, Chan had already formed a team of 8 that she hadn't met yet. JYP had never even given her a chance to prove herself that she was worthy of a debut. She was always put in the back where no one saw her. Or so she thought. She looked down in sadness as she saw her other female trainee friends debuting. Not until Chan came into the practice room one day and asked her an unexpected question...
