Chapter 10

*Matthews POV*
It was the end of the week. Friday. My parents had gone to the conference and I was sitting at home. Sitting at home on a Friday night. I got a text from Ashley.
Ashley- hi matthew. Im getting ready for the party. Call me when you are in the drive way.
Matthew- hey ash. Uh. I think you should just go with Natalie. I might be able to go but I don't know. Well, see you at the party.😏
Ashley- uhh okay. I guess I can go with Nat. See you later. Xoxo

She seemed mad at me. But don't worry, I have a plan. My parents told me I wasn't going to that party. But, I snuck out anyway.

*Ashleys POV*
I rang Natalie's doorbell. "You look great!" she said opening the door. "Come on! We are going to be late!" I said pulling her over to the car. Natalie got her license about 2 months ago, so we took her parents car and she drove. We pulled up to this large mansion with a fountain out front. Natalie and I grabbed our purses and headed inside.

When I walked in, it was very dark. There were disco lights and strobe lights everywhere. I saw a bunch of kids from my school. Most of them were drinking or doing drugs. I knew I shouldn't be here. But I wanted to have fun.

As me and Natalie were dancing and having fun, I looked over in the corner. I saw someone who looked like Matthew. Did he make it to the party? I walked closer to see what he was doing. Wow. I can't believe him. Once again, he was making out with some chick. I couldn't do this anymore. I was beside myself. Even though Matt and I weren't dating, I became really upset at the fact he was making out with every girl he sees again. I stormed out of the room with tears in my eyes.

I didn't even know where I was. I was on some couch in like a living room or sitting area. I just sat there and went on my phone. I didn't know why I felt this way. But I guess I should be used to it, since it's Matt. I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Jason giving me an evil smile.
