-New York City, 2001 marked the day a set of triplets were born-

To all that remember the day, it was happy. Three healthy babies wasn't common, but they all turned out well enough. Each of them were given a matching name, each with the honorable Joestar last name. The day passed by slowly and their mother stayed in the hospital. The babies were put to sleep in another room, naturally, but what happened after would shock everyone, and leave a lasting impact on every soul in the hospital for years to come.

At around 12 AM, a doctor walked in quietly to check on the babies. She quickly noticed that something was wrong, since all the babies were awake. They even looked like they were crying. The doctor went in, and her suspicions were confirmed. All the babies looked distressed and were crying. She stepped forward, and realized the issue. The ground was getting hot. Very hot. She immediately went and looked for something wrong with the thermostat, but realized that that wasn't it. She felt the ground under her feet getting even hotter, there was no mistake about it. She immediately panicked and hit the fire alarm, which began to ring. Something about the heat was creepy to her, and it only got worse. Her shoes began to even melt a little. The babies probably weren't burning, since they seemed unaffected and were most likely crying at the hot tempature.

After looking, she found the odd baby out - one of the Joestar triplets. Once the fire department arrived, she explained the whole situation. No one knew how to process it, not even the police, so they decided to keep it within the hospital's knowledge. But the baby's mother knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that this was the first signs of a stand ability. Yes, she knew and didn't tell anyone. But when you've been married to a Joestar for so long, you know what a stand is. She knew that that baby had just done something beyond supernatural.

As time passed, memories drifted, and a life was formed by the family on a farm. The mystery of stands is a mystery that may never be solved, and their role in the very fabric of the universe will never be discovered. They come in all shapes and sizes, and represent the inner spirit of its user. To many, stands are as personal as their deepest secret, and to others its a tool in order to fight their way to the top. Either way, stands, as they are known, are an enigma waiting to be uncovered.

-Jersey City, 2021-

A woman is walking about on the streets in a rush, as she frantically but carefully jots forward. She kept going forward, eventually beginning to run. But from what? Eventually, she didn't realize where she was going, and she bumped head first into someone. She fell, but the other person didn't. He was tall, around 6'5", and he was wearing a jacket with a few tears on it. It was laced with stars. His hair was a little wild, but in a well kept way. When she bumped into him, he dropped his sunglasses. They were also star shaped, like the designs on his jacket.

"I'm so sorry," the woman said. The tall man just looked at her. "Calm down, what's the rush? Did I miss something? Is today another holiday? I missed the last one because no one told me. C'mon fill me in!" The man said with a loud, but attention grabbing voice. She got up and looked at him with a confused face, but in a weird way she felt like she could trust him, even though he's a complete stranger. Something about his demeanor felt inviting.

"Back at the convenience store... Something happened with the clerk. I don't remember, but something happened. I ran as fast as I could to get away from him. I'm was going to call the police, but...." She paused for just a moment, before she pulled out her phone. ".... My phone froze!! And anything I touch freezes!! And now I'm even late for work!!" She said. The man's eyes widened, before he looked at the ground for a moment. He kneeled down before grabbing his glasses. "We just met, at least tell me your name. It's all going so fast!" The man said.
