You had the entire day planned out, you would go to the Galar Mines and train your Flareon and Jolteon to adapt to difficult situations. Your team consisted of only Eevee evolutions, and you were always eager to train them whether in trainer battles or wild encounters. A nudge on your leg had you looking down to your Leafeon, its head tilted to the side. She had just been training yesterday and despite her frilly appearance, she was powerful. Her bond along with all your other partners was as strong as they come, and that's what made your pokemon stronger than most. Even so, you never were one to take part in the gym battles. Your Rotom phone let out a few sounds and you slid it out of your bag swiftly, reading the text on the screen. It was Leon confirming your plans for later. You two had decided a couple of days ago to go for coffee and you would be lying if you would have said you weren't ecstatic for that to take place. With a quick reply, you ushered your pokemon back into their respective pokeballs. A smile spread across your face as you clipped the pokeballs into the holster on your belt, secured in place. You then began your trip to the mines, a smile on your face and a bounce in your step.

Walking from Hulbury to the mines was always interesting. Many wild pokemon would pop out and you would feed them berries every time. They had started to get used to the routine and some even waited for you to pass by. It wasn't until an Espurr walked up to you that you giggled. It held its little hands out and you gently place a Colbur berry into its hold.

"This will help you later," You spoke softly as not to startle the pokemon in front of you before you stood up and returned to your walk, waving to the psychic type as you left. It was quiet after that and going into the mines was simple, the hard part was finding the right spot to train. You didn't want to prevent any of the workers from doing their thing, so you had one direct you to a location they were finished with.

"You can use this space here for as long as you want," The woman spoke with a smile and you thanked her as she left.

"Perfect. Alright guys, come out!" You spoke joyfully as you tossed the assortment of different colored pokeballs up, nine pokemon emerging simultaneously. Every Eevee evolution sat before you, a shiny Eevee in the middle, her tail swaying happily as her joy cry joined the others. You had the luck of more than half of your group being female. The Flareon and Jolteon were excited as ever being the ones who got to train today. You were very attentive to their behavior and even went as far as choosing a location where you could train more than one or all at once. You set your bag down against the wall of the cavern and looked to your team.

"Alright, Flareon and Jolteon, you will be working on defending against type advantages, the rest of you, take this time to keep yourselves nimble and quick. We can't have Leon beating us forever, now can we?" You spoke jokingly but it still managed to get your pokemon riled up and ready to go. For the next few hours, you had Flareon and Jolteon mock battling some wild pokemon who were willing to fight and the other seven racing each other. When lunchtime came around, you prepared everyone's meal and placed their bowls down before you sat to eat your own meal.

"After this, we can head back guys. I want to give you the chance to explore on the way home so I'll let you stay out of your pokeballs today." You placed each colored Pokeball into the holster clip as the little fox-like creatures finished their meals. You checked the time and seen that you had a missed call from Leon. A little shocked, you finished packing up and motioned for your pokemon to start heading out as you stood up, calling Leon back.

"Hey, what's up?" You asked and stayed put when you heard his voice come through the line. He sounded concerned but at the same time, as if everything was under control.

"Hey (n/n), I may be a bit late. Pokemon started dynamaxing in locations where there aren't hotspots. Are you still in the mines?" He asked and you nodded before facepalming.
