Chapter 1

𝚈/𝚗 𝚙𝚘𝚟

Hi! I'm Y/n L/n and i'm 5. I have a super cool quirk,wich is Elements. I live in Japan with my mom and my dad and i have the most amazing best friend in the world! His name Is Toya Todoroki and he has a cool quirk too. His quirk is called cremation and is basicaly blue flames. Toya is two Years older than me but we still get along pretty well.

Y/n: "Toyaaaaaa!!!!!" I screamed as i jumped on him from behind.
Toya: "AAAAHH!! Y/n!! You dummy,you might get hurt. "
Y/n: "Sorry sorry. By the way,what are you doing?"
Toya: "Nothing much,Just chilling"
Y/n: "Cool"
?: "Oni-chan,are you here?"
Toya: "Yes,i'm here Fuyumi"
Fuyumi: "Oh! Y/n-san!"
Y/n: "Hey Fuyumi-chan"
Fuyumi: "How are you?"
Y/n: "Great,what about you?"
Fuyumi: "I'm fine,thank you"
Toya: "Oi,Y/n"
Y/n: "Yes?"
Toya: "Wanna go to the playground?"
Y/n: "Sure!"
Toya: "Hey Fuyumi,do you want to come with us?"
Fuyumi: "I would love to buy i'll stay home with mom to take care of Natsuo"
Y/n: "You sure?"
Fuyumi: "Yup! Now go and have fun!"
Toya: "Alright,bye Fuyumi"
Y/n: "See ya, Fuyumi-chan!"
Fuyumi: "Bye Oni-chan,bye Y/n-san!"

When we reached the playground there were already a lot of kids.
I looked all around me and saw a kid alone. He looked really sad.
Y/n: "Hey Toya"
Toya: "Yes Y/n?"
Y/n: "Look at that kid....he's all alone..."
Toya: "Let me guess,you want to play with him"
Y/n: "I just don't like seeing people alone..."
Toya: "Alright,let's go and talk to him"
Y/n: "Yay!! You're the best Toya!"
We started walking towards the boy. I think he was around Toya's age and he has some small red wings.
Y/n: "Hey there!"
?: "H-hey...."
Toya: "We saw you all alone so we decided to come to play with you"
?: "Play....?With....me?"
Y/n: "Yes! I'm Y/n L/n"
Toya: "I'm Toya Todoroki"
?: "I-i'm K-keigo T-t-takami"
Y/n: "What's your quirk?"
Keigo: "Red wings,what about the two of you?"
Toya: "Mine is cremation and his/here/their (idk what pronouns you use so i put this ones OwO) is Elements (or the one that you chose)"
Keigo: "Cool"
Y/n: "Sooo what are we gonna play?"
Toya: "Tag?"
Keigo: "Sure"
Y/n: "YAY!!"
We played for hours,until the evening came. We were tired but happy that we found a new friend. Keigo was a really nice person,even tho he had a difficult past.
Y/m (your mom): "Y/n!! It's time to go home sweety!"
Y/n: "Coming mom! Well i have to go"
Toya: "Alright"
Keigo: "Wanna meet tomorrow?"
Y/n: "Of course!"
Toya: "Sure"
Y/m: "Y/n!!"
Y/n: "Coming!! Bye guys"
Keigo: "Bye Y/n"
Toya: "Bye mother nature"
Y/n: "Bye blue match,bye Keigo"
I walked over to my mom,looking back and waving to Toya and Keigo.
Y/n: "Hey mom"
Y/m: "Hey baby,how are you"
Y/n: "Great!"
Y/m: "I see you made a new friend" She said as she held my hand.
Y/n: "Yep. His name is Keigo,he has a super cool quirk"
Y/m: "Wich is?"
Y/n: "He has some little red wings. I'm sure they're gonna grow and become really big"
Y/m: "Are you happy that you made a new friend?"
Y/n: "Of course mom!" I said as i jumped showing my happiness.
Y/m: "Pay attention on where you're going Y/n"
Y/n: "Ok mom"

Time skip
The next day i went back to the playground only to find Keigo alone.
Y/n: "Hey Keigo!"
Keigo: "Oh,Hey Y/n..."
Y/n: "Why do you look so sad? And where's Toya?"
Keigo: "Haven't you heard?"
Y/n: "Heard what?"
Keigo: "It seems like yesterday...."

Silence. It looked like he didn't want to speak.
Y/n: "Hey....what happened? You're making me worry...."
Keigo: "W-well....y-yesterday Toya.....d-d....."
Y/n: "Toya d....?
Keigo: "HE DIED!!!"
Those words felt like someone just stabbed me. That couldn't be true. My best friend......dead? He was probably kidding. Toya promised that we would become heros together.

Flashback
Toya: "Hey Y/n!"
Y/n: "Yes?"
Toya: "Wanna make a promise?"
Y/n: "Sure! What is it about?"
Toya: "Promise me we will become heros together."
Y/n: "Are you kidding me?"
Toya: "What? Of course not! I'm being serious!"
Y/n: "Ok ok chill! I promise hahaha"
Toya: "Good"
Y/n: "Of course we're going to be heros together,we're best friends!"
Toya: "Exactly"

End flashback

Y/n: "No...."
Keigo: "What no?"
Y/n: "HE'S NOT DEAD!"
Keigo: "Y-Y/n.....unfortunatly he is...."
Y/n: "NO!! He promised me that we would become heros together!!!"
Keigo: "I-i'm so sorry Y/n..."
Y/n: "This can't be real...."
Keigo: "I think it's the best if you go home...."
Y/n: "Y-you're right....Guess i'll see you tomorrow....or some other day...bye Keigo"
Keigo: "Bye Y/n...."

Time skip -at his funeral-
Everyone was crying a lot. Me too.
I never met someone like him.
I still can't believe that he's dead...
I already miss him.
Y/n: "I hope you're in a better place now,Toya....goodbye...."
Rei: "Y/n...?"
Y/n: "Huh? Oh Mrs. Todoroki....hello"
Rei: "Hi...i know how close you were to Toya....and now much you cared for him...."
Y/n: "Yeah..."
Rei: "And since you two were so close i thought you wanted something that it reminds you of him....so here Is his favorite bracelet....he said that it reminded him of you...so,please...take it..."
Y/n: "Mrs. Todoroki....."
Rei: "Call me Rei....here"
Y/n: "Thank you...thank you so much....Rei...."
Rei: "You're welcome"
