My fingers hover over the keyboard, circling the air around the enter button. Already having swallowed my lipstick an hour ago, I chew my lip, now working on the layer of thin skin underneath. I am terrified of the consequences of what I am about to do but... it's now or never. This is the one chance for any romance in my life. I am not going to let it go without even attempting to make an effort. Deep breaths, Mila. Deep breaths.

I close my eyes and exhale. Be brave for once in your life, Mila. Take a damn risk.

Immediately the message turns read and my stomach somersaults in fear.

Three dots appear on his side and I pray for his message. I know he is always too curious for a puzzle but there are chances he might think this is silly and ignore it altogether.

I laugh. I can imagine his face on the other side- a smile fighting his pursed lips to make an appearance; his brown-tinted eyes crinkling at the edge and his dark hair carelessly swept to the side.
