It is a sunny morning and Yejin woke up earlier than usual. When she checked her phone, she saw that it's still 6 in the morning. She woke up with a light mood and a happy feeling. Of course, she did not forget about the conversation she had with a certain man last night.
She got out of bed to prepare herself the daily dose of coffee she needs. Morning coffee sets her mood for the whole day. While drinking her coffee, she turned on her television for the morning news. She sat in her sofa, hugging her white pillow. She was smiling the whole time.
After that, she watered her house plants and said 10 nice things to them. When she was done watering, she checked her phone to see what time it is and to check if there are any messages or notifications from her social media accounts. Her work starts at 9 am. When the phone showed that it is already 7 in the morning, she took her towel and other things she needed and headed to the bathroom.
When she got out of the bathroom, still in her bath robe while rubbing her wet hair using her towel, her phone beeped. The moment she heard it, she threw her towel to the nearest table and rushed to grab her phone. She got an Instagram notification. She felt disappointed but she does not know why. Is it because she was waiting for a message from someone?
It is already 8:30 am and she's done with her morning routine. She grabbed her car keys and was about to head out when she saw her unused Chloé Eau de Parfum. She grabbed it and placed it in her bag. She might need it later, she thought.
She drove her car and arrived in her workplace at exactly 8:53 am. The sight of happy employees is what greeted her when she entered the office building. She can see a smile in everybody's face. It looks like today will really be a great day.
Upon reaching her office, she took out her phone, placed her bag in her desk and sat in her chair. She called her parents to check out on them like she used to do every morning.
The moment she turned on her computer, her phone beeped but she just ignored it, prioritizing her work. When she opened her e-mail, she saw one from Min-ah. It is her way of expressing her gratitude towards Yejin. She really loved Yejin's work last night. Reading her message warmed Yejin's heart.
Yejin was caught up in writing e-mails and doing her report that she lost track of time. While writing an e-mail, she suddenly heard her stomach growling. She then checked her Blancpain Quantieme Retrograde wristwatch only to find out that it is already 12:58 and she haven't had her lunch yet. She decided to take a break. She grabbed her bag and car keys.
After her lunch, she remembered that she has an unread message. When she checked it, it is from the person whom she was expecting.
"Good morning, Yejin-ssi. Please don't forget to text me your office address so that I can pick you up later. Have a great day!
Handsome Bin"
The last part of his message made Yejin laugh. "Such a funny man." she told herself. She replied his message with her office address in it and told him that she will be out of work at 6 pm. He did not expect him to reply immediately but fortunately, he did.
"Okay, got it! 6 pm later. See you!"
Yejin did not know why but she felt happy... and excited. She really is looking forward to this, she must admit. "This is not a date. Just a casual and friendly hangout." she thought.
She called the waiter to ask for her bill. After that, she grabbed her things and went back to the office. She immediately started her works so that she will be able to finish it soon. She was immersed in her work and when she looked at the bottom right corner of her desktop screen, she saw that it is already 5:25 pm.
