I stood while I was waiting for my mom to finish up. She is a nurse and was called to work by her boss. Apparently some people where in shock when the incident happened. I was then called by my boss myself. He said since I just started joining the police force, I should be the one who investigates the incident. "Cowards." I thought. I knew that the rest of the police were scared when this thing happened. The incident wasn't clear but it involved one of the richest people in the world, Mr. Fedric Davidson. Many people are respect him and refused to believed he had done anything bad. But just in case, they all probably denied this task. I sighed because I'm pretty worried about this too. He's my hero and I look up to him a lot but duty calls I thought." He probably has nothing to do with this." I keep telling myself.

I called a taxi and headed to the spot. It looked like a crime scene. I asked a nearby fellow police officer on what happened. He explained that a girl jumped of a building but her body was never found. The media also deleted most of the footage but they keep bothering the police and investigators. He handed me gloves and a belt that looks like it had a pouch. He also asked me to fill in a questionnaire. I had to write my gender(male), age(15) and what I work for(HID police department). The officer nodded and took my answers to who knows where. Just as I was about to go in, he ran towards me and told me I was going to go in with a partner since I was a beginner. A girl walked towards me and told me she was going to show me around. She had a hoodie and leggings with a kind of expression that only describes one word : "lost". She had this intense confused stare and the officer immediately started backing up. Her expression was just monotone like she was bored. But when we walked in the hotel building, her expression went from nothing to slightly intimidated although she was trying not to show it.
She showed me the front desk which was empty. She explained that everyone is in the meeting room interrogating Mr.Fedric Davidson. She looked worried but her face looked hopeful. "Do you like Mr Fedric too?" I asked. She looked at me with a pained look and murmured under her breath,"So.. everyone still believes that don't they....". I was confused and asked what she meant. She just tried to smile and said that it was nothing. I followed her suspiciously as she guided me to several other rooms of the hotel. She began walking towards a water dispenser while I started looking for clues. "Time, three o clock in the afternoon. Date, March seventh. Found some clues about the girl who jumped off the building. Had blue clothes and black hair tie. Current position, security room. Located in the right side of the hotel." I wrote. I had brought my journal with me to keep track of my process. I was scrolling through footage until I came up on a blurry image. Apparently, the cameras were turned off for service or something knocked them out. After magnifying, I saw a light blue spot and a black hair tie on the ground. I called out on my partner and told her what we got so far. She looked impressed but asked if I knew the whole situation. I was of course confused since the media blocked all the info and no one knows exactly what happened. She began looking anxious like she was expecting me to say something else. After a few minutes of silence, she just sighed and walked away.

I sprinted and grabbed her. I knew she knows something but won't tell me. After convincing, she told me that she wants to tell me but isn't sure I was ready. I gulped and was having second thoughts until I decided that I was okay with anything. She nodded and was about to say something until we saw a tall figure in the corner. I gasped and the girl dived into one of the rooms and mouthed hide me. I tried to act natural because the figure was none other than Mr Fedric."H-hi Sir! Its an honor!"I exclaimed. He seemed pleased and began talking to me about how ridiculous this all was."I wonder why they interrogated me... I did nothing wrong."
I breathed a sigh of relief. Mr Fedric wouldn't lie. He is the nicest most professional millionaires out there. After he left, I began looking for my partner but she just stood behind me with the coldest expression. She grabbed my arm and whisked me to a room. It seemed to be a normal hotel room except kind of mixed with a library. She desperately began going through some books and began opening some closets."WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"I screamed. She seemed to ignore me and still went on. I tried pulling her arm but she was strong and determined(not a good combo for me). She finally found a book in one of the closets."Sit down."she said. I was not about to be bossed around by a person younger than me and also a girl. Seeing my reaction she grabbed my hands even though I tried to pull them and somehow managed to get a doll's ribbon and tied my arms together. She pushed me to a wooden chair and I tried to scream."Relax, I didn't push you that hard. Trust me I know my own strength." she calmly said. Right there and then I knew I wasn't handling some random cop. I was handling a criminal mastermind. She opened the book, whispered some things and everything went dark.
