Denki's pov
"I-Its my dad...." She said with a shaky voice. 'I don't want her to leave.......I don't want her to get hurt...' I thought as I went to hug her. She was shaking but soon stopped.
"You don't have to go back.....you can stay with me or I can find you some place better to stay" I said looking her in the eyes.
"I-I.....-" she started to say then her phone started to ring. we looked at the caller I.D then back at each other. she answered it and put it on speaker so I could hear.
"h-hello?"
"WHERE ARE YOU! WHY HAVE YOU BEEN INGORING ME! YOU BETTER COME HOME BEFORE I GO GET YOU MYSELF!" The man on the side of the phone yelled.
"o-o-okay" she said quietly. He then hung up.
"I-I don't want you to go back there" I told her.
"I have too"
"No you don't .....please just stay with me... or let me help you" I said trying to get her to stay. I'm scared if I let her go home I'll never see her again...and I just met her, I can't lose her already.
"I'm sorry I got you involved in this...thank you for your help" she said with a weak smile and tears in her eyes. 'fuck fuck FUCK!!! he's going to hurt her again....and I can't do anything about it..' I thought as I pulled her closer.
"you know he's going to hurt you....why are you going back?" I asked.
"because if I don't he will find me...and hurt you too... Anyways I have to go" She said
"At least let me walk you home" I said while helping her up off the ground.
"fine" she said with a slight smile and we stared to walk to her house.
" Soooooo....tomorrow's monday....we have school" I stated.
"yea" she said with a smile.
"will you be there" I asked.
"definitely " she assured.
"Wanna meet on the roof in the morning?" I asked while looking at her.
"Sure" she said in agreement. Then we walked in a comfortable silence for a little. I think we were getting close to her house when she started walking slower.
3rd person pov
"you okay?" Denki asked Y/n. Then she stopped walking.
"I'm scared....but I have to go" she said, struggling to hold back tears. Y/n then took out her phone to check the time, it was 10:30pm. Then denki took her phone and put his number in it.
"text or call me if you need to or want to..." He said while handing her back her phone.
"Thanks, we should keep walking I guess" Y/n said, then started walking.
"okay" Karminari said.
After they reached her neighbor's house~
