Steve's POV:
Lunch. The one period I actually attend. "Cmon Steve, we're going the mall, you coming?" Tommy asks me, his arm around his girlfriends shoulder. "Totally. I'll meet you guys there." I wave, and step into the guys locker room. I light a cigarette and stand in the mirror, messing with my hair. I hear a shower turn off, and ignore it. I look back into the mirror, and behind me I see a tall figure in nothing but a towel. Billy. He walks towards me. One wrong move and down goes the towel.. wait, what the fuck!! Why would I think something like that? He's behind me. He spins me around, taking the cigarette from my mouth and throwing it on the ground. "I was, I was kind of using that." My face starts to heat up. I place my hand on his chest. I lock eyes with him, and he tilts my chin up with his finger, smiles, and walks into a changing stall. I walked out of the locker room in a hurry. I get in my car and speed to the mall. "Steve, what the hell?" Tommy asks me, as I meet them in the center of the mall. I sigh. "Sorry, man. I got distracted." Tommy sighs. "Anyways Steve, tomorrow, Friday, party, my house, 8pm." I smirk. "I'll be there, man." Tommy high fives me. We get Chinese food and take our time going back to school. School ended, and I went to my locker. I look over at Nancy Wheeler kissing Johnathon Buyers, and sigh. Nancy Wheeler, sure she's my past but damn. Johnny Wheeler? Quite the down grade if you ask me.

Billy's POV:
I scowl as my alarm clock goes off. God damn it, I don't want to go to fucking school today. I slump out of bed and put on a tank top and jeans, combing out my hair. Less than a month until I'm free. "Max, get your ass out here!" I yell, as my step sister runs out of her room. "Coming!" Her long orange hair is tangled. We get into the car, and head to her school. "Who was that kid you were talking to yesterday?" I ask. "Lucas, why?" She asks slowly. "he's not someone I want you hanging out with." She laughs. "Why should I give a shit?" I scowl. "Because it's my job to take care of you, so you do as I say, you bitch." She glares at me. We go down a hill, and I see three kids on their bikes in the middle of the road. Dumbasses. "Billy, Billy watch out." I ignore her, speeding up. "Billy! Billy stop it! Slow down!" She begs me. Again, I ignore her, as we are about five feet from the kids, she screams to the kids, grabbing the steering wheel, turning it left. "Max!!" I yell angrily. I stop the car, and she runs out. "Lucas!!" She runs over to the boy laying in the grass. "I told you to stay away from him you little skank!" I yell to her. I sigh angrily and drive off. I get to class late, and sit down in a desk in the back. "Mr. Hargrove, thank you for joining us. May I continue?" I roll my eyes. "Yup." She glares at me. "Splendid." By lunch time, blue fliers are everywhere. "Tommy H. Halloween Party This Friday, October 31! Bring a Plus One!" It reads. Hm, no plus one needed but I guess I'll go. 347 Oakwood Drive, I write down on my arm. I hear a feminine giggle behind me. "Hey Billy.. any plans tonight?" I groan under my breath. "Yes, Marla. I have plans." She looks at me and sighs. "Sucks. I was gonna ask you to join me at the party." I look up. "You know what Marla, why don't we go. I'll pick you up at 8." She plays with her hair. "See ya then."
