Chris had short light brown hair and dark brown eyes with freckles. He wore a red jacket with a K embroidered on the right chest. You can tell that he definitely liked watching Riverdale because he copied the comic book character Archie Andrews. However, he had an old plaid red backpack and wore some blue jeans. By the time he walked into the school he made his way down the hallway passing people at their lockers. Some friends we're talking too eachother, some kids were being picked or pranked on, and other's were whispering secrets to one another. Chris stayed nimble and quiet as he approached his class which was at the end of the hall.
Someone grabbed his shoulder and Chris turned around frightened. It was a big buff guy senior, he must've been at least six foot two because, he towered him. For Chris, he was skinny and only five foot five. The senior called him a newbie, and asked if he was going to enter in any of the sports teams. Chris scratched the back of his neck nervously and said that he might try either the track team or baseball. The senior nodded his head and then left writing it down on a piece of paper. Chris was confused at first, but then he shrugged and made it into class by the bell.
So far the day for him had been going alright, by the time lunch came around, he sat with his best bud Clyde. Clyde had curly blonde hair, blue eyes, and was much more muscular then Chris. However, he had just the same humor as Chris's and tends too talk a lot with him. They both had been friend's since the beginning of middle school. They often share about the times when they went camping in the woods or took a trip too Italy. They were pretty much best friends and their parents were totally chill. Often times Clyde would talk about becoming a veterinarian since he likes animals. Clyde owns two parakeets, a dog, and a cat back at home. For Chris, he only had one Rottweiler dog named Pepsi.
After lunch he went to his physical education class where he found out about the baseball and track and field tryouts. He takes both papers and puts them in his folder to look over for the night. He often did pretty well in school, and often got average grades. He was pretty much a normal kid. Chris often thought about becoming a engineer, so he did great in mathematics which most kids wouldn't like or do good in. Although he was very energetic and skinny, and often did a lot of running, which would be good for either track or baseball. Everything for Chris seemed like it was going just fine.
The bell rang and everyone began to go home. Chris made his walk down the sidewalk since his home wasn't too far away from the high school. He lived in a little neighborhood called Willowsbury Estates. His friend Clyde walked home with him since his house was only a couple more houses down the street. They began to talk about their first day and both shared there thoughts. Pretty much they had the same experience in every class. Clyde was only with Chris in one class and that was World History.
Clyde lightly punched his shoulder,
"Hey man, I'm going to tryout for the baseball team, you coming next week too it?"
Chris nods, "Of course, but if I don't make the team, I'll probably just switch to the track team."
"Hey! That's great man, I like your thinking. You wanna hang at my house for a bit? I got Minecraft and Doom Slayer on my Xbox."
Chris sighed, "I would, but, my parents expect me too be home right away today. Maybe tomorrow after school?"
Clyde smiled, "Sure thing! Anytime your available."
They two boys then arrive at Chris's house and Clyde waved as he continued walking down the sidewalk towards his home. Chris opens the door and enters the house to the smell of pasta and red sauce. His father, Kenneth Jones, and his mother Grace Jones had made dinner that evening. They greeted their son and beckoned him to come and eat dinner. He sets his backpack down and made himself a bowl of spaghetti. His parents asked him how his first day was, as any usual parent would ask their children. He simply told them that it was a overall a nice day for him.
He began to eat his dinner more hungry then normal. It wasn't that he hadn't eaten all day, he just came home feeling that way. His parents meanwhile were talking about paying off their house. Chris's mom was a Insurance agent, and his dad was a construction worker. Both were very boring jobs too Chris, but they made plenty of money which was good. By the time he finished dinner he puts his bowl in the sink and retired too his bedroom.
There, he sat on his bed and pulled out his phone and started to scroll through his Instagram. Nothing too different then before, all there was, were pictures of people he knew that were either on vacation or doing something interesting. He scrolled over and saw a picture of a girl he knew that went too his middle school. She was smart, pretty, and had long black hair and brown eyes. He and the girl had the same personality. Also, he has a little bit of a crush on her as well. Chris likes the picture of her and continued too scroll through the rest of his social media.
He puts his phone down and laid on his back starring at the ceiling a moment with his legs crossed. The girl's name was Ava, and he didn't mind being a friend still with her, he often texted her sometimes as well. Chris laid there in bed thinking about her a little bit, he didn't see her in the high school but, he's sure she'll come around sometime. Sitting up in bed he went and got a shower and changed into his boxers and brushed his teeth. He spits and then looks up to see himself in the mirror for a second. Then he finally scrubbed his teeth again and spits. He said goodnight too his parents and went to sleep for the night.
By morning, there was going to be the start of something unexpected to himself...
