'Alright! Let's do another one!' Marvin says from the stage, while the crowd applauds.

'Where did they go? They just came in here!' One of the boys says.

'Okay, something that really cooks...' The other Marty says.

Johnny B. Goode.

A small smile edges it's way onto my lips.

'Look! How did he get up on stage?' One of them yells.
'I don't know, but when he gets down, we're gonna nail him.'
'How the hell did he change his clothes so fast?'

'Alright, this is an oldie, but uhm... Well, it's an oldie where I come from.' The other Marty announces. 'Alright, guys, listen, this is a blues riff in B, watch me for the changes and try to keep up, okay?' He starts playing, while Marty and I get away from under the table.

'Doc! Doc! Come in!' He says into the walkie-talkie.
'Marty, come in.' Dad replies.
'Listen, Biff's guys chased us into the gym and they're going to jump... Me!' He points at the stage.
'Then get out of there!'
'No, Doc! Not me! The other me! The one that's up on stage playing Johnny B. Goode!'
'Great Scott! Your other self will miss the lightning bolt at the clock tower, you won't get back to the future and we'll have a major paradox!'
'Wait, wait, wait.' We move to another place. 'A paradox? You mean one of those thing that can destroy the universe?'

'That's exactly what he means.' I tell him.
'Precisely, you have to stop those guys at all costs, but without being seen by your parents or your other selves.' Dad instructs.
'10-04!'

🎵Go, Johnny, Go, Go, Go. Johnny B. Goode.🎵

We walk towards the stage without being seen.

'Hey, what're you doing with Biff?' Marty asks me and he points at me being forced to dance with Biff.
'Hitting him in the balls.'
'No, you're no- Nevermind, you did.'
'Yeah, he forced me to dance with him, but that's not important. What's important is that.' I points Biff's guys, who are now backstage, waiting for Marty to finish.

Marty looks at himself play guitar and then speaks up.
'I see what you mean, I look pretty hit when I play guitar.' He smirks.
'Jesus Marty.' I laugh. 'Telling me that it's an inappropriate time to make jokes, while checking yourself out? Tsk tsk tsk.' I roll my eyes at him.
'Hey, atleast I look good doing so.'
'Are you telling me that I don't look good?'
'What? No!' Marty says while he walks to the otherside to get backstage and stop them, but I stop him.

'You can't go there.' I tell him
'Why not?'
'Because I will go there and I'm sitting there and I'm waiting for you to finish playing!'
'Shit... Well, we have to go there and make sure you don't see us.'

We get backstage and make sure that I don't see us.

'Isn't he an amazing guitarist!' The other me exclaims.
'Oh, uhm, yeah! Fantastic!' I say in an uneasy way.

'You wait here and talk to yourself.' Marty whispers and stops for a second. 'That didn't make sense, but you know what I mean, I'm gonna stop Biff's guys.'

'Chuck! Chuck! It's Marvin, your cousin? Marvin Berry? You know that new sound you're looking for? Well listen to this!' Marvin puts the phone towards Marty.

'Don't get too caught up in it, please...' The other me mumbles.
'Knowing him, he probably will.' I say to her.
'Yeah...'

I could ask myself questions about time and make her nervous or I could be a normal human being and not mess with this time-space-continuum-paradox-shit. Let's go for option number 1. That's more fun.

'And here we go...' She pinches the bridge if her nose.

'So, you come here often?' I ask myself, while still hiding my face.
'O-Oh, well, I-I uhm. No, not really. M-My grandparents live here and I'm staying with them...' the other me answers.
'I know you're lying, but that's okay. I don't need to know the truth. It's probably better if I don't know it.' I smirk.
'Wh-What?' She turns to me with a shocked impression.
'What?' I say innocently.
'Nothing..'
