LET'S TALK ABOUT my dad's transphobia

My dad's a 59 year old turning 60 this year transphobic, and I cry every time if I hear 'trans ppl'

or something along those lines on the news. Well, last night I heard 'name changes'. Now I don't know about you, but my breathing gets rapid and I start sobbing when I hear this stuff. My first instinct when I hear such negativity coming from my dad is I email one of my friends and they set up a zoom meeting for me and my friends that support lgbtq+ to come in. Both are showing signs of comfort, as I'm starting to calm down.

My dad said "those people are stupid. You wanna know why his [Elliot Page's} wife left him? BECAUSE HE WAS STUPID!"

Trans people keep fighting for their lives, to finally feel accepted into this world and my dad keeps on saying negative things

He even offended the lgbtq+ community by saying "How many letters will they add in lgbtq+ because they are taking the letters from the alphabet."

Sadly, I don't have proof he was saying those things because my phone's gone for a long time.

If my parents or my sister find this book I'm in trouble

Well, new day today

Everyone is valid, doesn't matter if your lesbian, bisexual, homosexual, transgender, gender neutral, etc. Don't let someone change that because it's YOUR body :)

Most importantly, I want my old dad back
