I didn’t have any lectures today, just my art shops. So, needles to say, I slept in pretty late. By the time I had gathered the strength to leave my comfy pile of blankets, it was around 2:00pm.
I hobbled over to my wardrobe, I looked feminine yesterday but I wanted to look extra fem today. I had a long tattered pink sweater that came down to my knees that I wanted to wear. I grabbed it out of my wardrobe along with blue shorts and white fishnets. When I was done getting dressed, I prepped my hair and put two angel wing clips on either side of my head.
My first class went as normal and I was now walking to Mr. Lee’s class. “Dylan!” A smiling Mr. Lee came running up behind me. “Nice work yesterday!” He said as he slowed by my side.
“Thanks, but really it was all thanks to you.” I smiled back. Mr. Lee really was a warm person.
“Oh no, don’t give me the credit. You’re the one who picked up on the lesson so quickly, it might have been the best work of the day!” He complimented. “If you ever need any assistance outside of the shop, feel free to call me.” He stopped and slipped me a piece of paper with neatly written digits on it.
“Will you stop flirting with your students Lee, aren’t you like 25?” Me and Mr. Lee both turned around. Mr. Kain was walking into the building with his board in hand.
25? Wow, Mr. Lee looks 17 at best. “Well I’m sorry Kain, not everyone can stay 20 forever like you.” Mr. Lee’s mood seemed to change drastically. Did Mr. Lee and Mr. Kain not get along? “Why are you so late coming into the building anyway, Kain?”
“My classes don’t start till later, so I had time to kill.” He ran a hand through his black waves. I never took the time to really look at Mr. Kain. His hair was wavy and dark, he had a small beauty mark near his left eye, the color of his eyes were a dark for set green shade, though he dressed like a 16 year old skater, he looked pretty fit. "Are you alright Dylan?" I hadn't noticed my staring at Mr. Kain.
"Oh, yes. I just didn't get to thank you for last night!" Good save Dylan.
"I'm just glad I decided to take that way home." His expression dropped to a softer look when averted his gaze to me. "I'm grateful you are ok, Dylan." His words were sincere and kind.
"Dylan, we should head to class." I forgot Mr. Lee was here, he looked almost pestered. But surely soon enough he was back with his normal juvenile energy.
As we started walking I turned back to Kain and realised he was catching up to us. "My shop room is this way, if you don't mind me tagging along."
"Sure!" Me and Mr. Kain talked a bunch about todays lesson and yesterdays work, whilst Mr. Lee watched us.
We reached the shop room and Mr. Lee walked in without saying goodbye, kind of rude for him. "Dylan," Mr. Kain stopped to look at me. "I'm walking you home tonight."
